Preface
The search for truth is a difficult search – to say the least. If we could be sure of the truth – find ourselves a Truth HQ – then perhaps we could branch out into finding right and wrong, what beauty means and what makes for a good life. These ideas are the dreams of humanity – taken up by philosophy, religion and science.
The stories and essays in this work explore these ideas in a playful manner – digging into some of the great themes of philosophical thought.
For readers who want to dig deeper, they may wish to refer to a larger non-fiction work – Conatus. The revised edition of Conatus gives a lot of detail, whilst the third edition tells the story in a simpler and more accessible manner.
