The Mind and Body Connection and Love
The mind and body connection
Is one more form of balance
Still it's a matter of inflection
In the way we take our stance
Between them is no distinction
Not encounter inner hierarchy
We choose our own conviction
About the nature of this anarchy
This is not the anarchy of the chaotic
And arises from our complex individuation
It means the transformation of all that is despotic
Which makes transcendent sense out of our inner relation
We see exquisite balance comes from a sacred equality
Such as we find in the love that Kierkegaard defines
In our love, our physical and intellectual unity
Becomes realized and endlessly refined
Distortions may seem to dominate on our bodily surface
The healthy self, whole and complete, continues
This make all parts of self show it has purpose
And responds to what in our life ensues
Love gives this its sacred immediacy
Each moment eternally connected
Not just for worldly expediency
Love is sacredly cathected
All this is intensely realized
In all of our love's exchanges
It need not be thus idealized
It's love makes us courageous
