The Victory of Reconciliation in Love Which Wins the Vanquished
Reconciliation in love
The vital thing to be vanquished
Is the good over what is evil
To reach what in love is honest
And make of conflict what is peaceful
Offer love to the unloving
Thus seek true reconciliation
So that love is always becoming
Through the true lover's consideration
The struggle here is complicated
For the evil the good supports
All good remains dedicated
To the evil's change of course
To battle with love for the good
Is a thing that is most laudable
But to battle for the enemy as we should
To make all of this reconcilable
As part of this we find forgiveness
Something both sides are needing
Even when there is resistance
It's to love we need be heeding
When of forgiveness we make a gift
We want to be open to receiving
This is the balm that heals the rift
And helps all end their grieving
We want the vanquished to accept forgiveness
Through the lover's facilitation
To bring about love's true awareness
And engage in reconciliation
