arguments against.

The earlier argument has suggested that for the most part God is unnecessary as an explanation for the physical universe. God has only been used to fill in the gaps in our knowledge, and is no longer needed as a Creator or ‘first cause’. Whilst these observations may be true, they do not necessarily preclude God's existence.

A second argument against God's existence is essentially a moral objection and concerns the amount of suffering in the world — both in the human realm and in nature.
