I knew what he and a lot of others were thinking. It boils down to the fact that he just couldn’t relate as he had unfortunately never met someone so sweet, but they get mad if you tell them that. So, I “diverted” the conversation back to somewhere near where it started by saying; “You trust what these guys say?”

Pop said; “Yep,” telling me more than he probably realized. I mean, he’s not a bad guy at all. He just makes some judgements which he doesn’t consider to be judgements, and like most everyone he has his good reasons.
