The Second Sightings

Day 10

On Sunday afternoon, just before evening, a Lawmaker was strolling down the street when he noticed a boy clutching a Unicorn poster.

He snatched the poster from the boy's grip and ripped it apart.

“Ah! Give me that!” The Lawmaker exclaimed as he yanked the poster away. “Hey! Give it back!” The boy protested. “Return my belongings!” He demanded, attempting to take the poster from the Lawmaker.

“Stop it! How old are you?” The Lawmaker retorted.

“When will you understand that such Beings do not exist?” He told the furious boy. “And my age is none of your business!”

“Stop it! Give it back!” The boy insisted. However, it appeared that the Lawmaker had already destroyed the poster. At that moment, several passersby noticed the confrontation between the boy and the Lawmaker, who seemed ready to fight, and they gathered around them. “Hey! What's happening here?” One bystander inquired.

“Oh, hello everyone! My name is Mr. Alexander, and I am a Lawmaker in this village!” The Lawmaker announced the crowd.

“Mr. Alexander! What’s the issue between you and the boy?” Another person from the crowd asked.

“Oh, it’s nothing.”

“There’s always some conflict between children and adults—it's just a common occurrence!” The Lawmaker replied. “Is that true, young boy?” Some of the onlookers questioned the boy.

“Older people always blame the youngers, but they are the ones at fault!” The boy responded.

“He took my stuff and ripped it apart!” The boy added, displaying the torn poster to the crowd.

At that moment, everyone gasped in shock. “Oh! You are wrong, Mr. Lawmaker!” Someone from the crowd shouted. “Come on, folks! When will we accept that Spiritual Beings do not exist?” The Lawmaker countered.

“Are you saying I am liar for witnessing the Unicorn too?” Another person responded. “Yeah! Answer that!” Others from the crowd said.

Just then, another child—a girl—called out loud, “Hey everyone, look! Look at the Sky!”

Indeed, when everyone, including the Lawmaker, glanced up at the Sky, they witnessed a white Unicorn soaring above them, descending lower to glide over the heads of the crowd before ascending higher. “Oh my! This is indeed a Unicorn!” The Lawmaker said and wondered. “I was wrong.”

“They truly exist!” The Lawmaker said again. “Look at those people down there, they seem so tiny!” Wowlio remarked to Faradaline after the Unicorn had passed by the crowd and soared higher.

“Absolutely! We’re having an incredible time with Skyadina: a fearless Unicorn from my slumber!" Wowlio added.
