Another Joyful Evening
Day 5
On Tuesday evening, Wowlio, Faradaline, and Skyadina gathered by a firewood fire at the edge of the sea, close to one of the farm warehouses, to unwind, eat, converse, and dance despite the slight chill in the air. Initially, when they arrived, they settled down to enjoy some Fruits. “Oh, it's starting to get cold here!” Skyadina remarked as they sat on separate chairs, sharing Fruits and sipping Champagne. “Oh yes, it's the temperature here.”
“It's kind of bipolar here!” Faradaline
responded.
“Can I ask you something, Skyadina?” Wowlio asked Skyadina. “Do you enjoy it here?”
“How old are you?” He asked her. “Yes, I do like it here!”
“And I am 37 years old!” Skyadina replied. “Of course, I feel like it's quite pleasant here as well!” She also said. “I’m happy to know!” He replied. “I've traveled and explored many places on the island, and it seems like numerous other people like you two are staying on the opposite sides,” she mentioned. “That’s correct.” He responded. “As for the other people you noticed, they are the ones residing in the villages.”
“Our house and farm are somewhat distant from the villages!” He explained. “Indeed, there's a nice distance between the villages and here!” Wowlio added. “Now, I understand.” Skyadina replied. “So, do you also enjoy the Fruit and Champagne you're having?” Faradaline asked her.
“Absolutely! Thank you!” She responded to Faradaline.
“You're welcome!” Both Faradaline and Wowlio chimed in. Earlier in the evening, as they sat, ate, drank, and chatted, Skyadina brought up the family portrait she had seen in the room. “Where are your parents?”
“Are you both orphans, and something?” Skyadina questioned them. “No, we weren't orphans, but our mother has passed away!” Faradaline replied to Skyadina's questions. “And our father went to Mipota-Ville with his colleague.” Faradaline also told her. “Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing!” Skyadina expressed her condolence.
“It's alright! It wasn't your fault or ours that she passed away!”
“It's just a part of life that we can't control, you know?” Wowlio responded. “While I was in the room, I noticed the family portrait, which is why I asked those questions!” Skyadina explained. “It's okay.” Faradaline reassured her. And two hours later, darkness began to fall as it was getting late.
Faradaline and Skyadina were spotted holding hands and dancing as Classical and Opera Music played from a Vintage Record Player that Wowlio had brought along. Meanwhile, Wowlio sat in his chair, watching them and bursting into laughter. “Stop laughing! Why don't you join us?” Skyadina urged him. “No, thank you.” He replied. “I'm good.” He continued to chuckle. A few minutes later, Skyadina grabbed Wowlio's hand from the chair and compelled him to dance with them.
“I don't know how to dance, but I'll give it a shot!” He said, prompting more laughter from them.
Then, when it was finally Wowlio and Skyadina's turn to dance, she took his hand, gazed at him with a charming smile, and said, “Wow, you're really good!” To which he responded, “You're not bad after all, either!”
