Part 1

One morning, my father, mother, grandmother, and my mother's cousin decided to visit the beach.

However, the Jamaican Carnival season had already concluded, and shortly after my family went to the beach, my father's crew, along with their wives, also made the trip.

Well, that morning, while my father was enjoying breakfast with my mother, my grandmother announced her intention to go to the beach, inviting them to join her if they wished.

“I'm heading to the beach! Who's coming with me?” My grandmother declared as she entered the dining room where my mother, father, and my mother's cousin were having breakfast. And it was worth noting that my grandmother had already completed her breakfast.

“You're going to the beach, mother?” My mother exclaimed. “Wow! I want to join you!” My mother also said. “But dear?” My father responded to my mother. “Someone is already accompanying me,” my grandmother interjected. “Who else is going?” My grandmother also inquired. “Everyone is going,” my mother replied. “Everyone?” my father questioned.

“Are you not aware of my schedule?” My father asked my mother. “Stop it, Mr. Legrand!” My grandmother insisted on it. “You’ve heard your wife; you are coming with us.” My grandmother added it.

“Thank you, mother!” My mother expressed it to my grandmother. “Listen! We are off to the beach!”

“But when?” My mother's cousin asked my grandmother. “I plan to leave for the beach in less than two hours,” my grandmother responded.

“Who is joining me?” My grandmother asked them. “Everyone!” My mother, father, and my mother's cousin replied in unison.

“Oh! That sounds wonderful!”

“Together, we will have a fantastic time!” My grandmother said gratefully.

“I have a question!” My father told my grandmother. “Yes, Mr. Legrand! What is it?” My grandmother replied and asked. “May I invite my crew and their wives? They might want to join us at the beach,” my father asked. “Yes! Go ahead!” My grandmother replied, “But everyone must behave appropriately around me.”

“Understood!” My father acknowledged it. “Thank you!” My grandmother replied.
