Part 2

Immediately after that, I climbed down from the treehouse and approached the individuals.

“Hello? Hi everyone!”

“What is happening here?”

“How can I assist you?” I addressed the small crowd, even though some appeared to be upset.

“Why are you all here?”

“And how did you guys find my second home right there?” I asked further.

Immediately after I posed additional questions, the four Merchants who witnessed Werleyadia bathing in the River showed up.

“Everyone, please be quiet; I need to speak with him!” One of the four guys stated loudly.

“Okay? But who are you?”

“Do I know you?” I asked the guy. “You live here, right?” He asked me. “Yes! I'm staying over there,” I responded. “But why do you ask?” I pressed. “So, you won't disclose what we observed here?” Another of the four guys questioned me again.

“What are you referring to?”

“Are you guys talking about the juicy fruits here or else?” I replied.

“Shut up!”

“Are you trying to play games with us?”

“Don't toy with me, young man!” He warned me. “You know precisely what we mean,” the angry guy asserted. At that moment, I heard someone from the crowd exclaim, “Let's set this Tree on fire!”

“Let's burn this, Tree!” A woman echoed. “No! Don’t you dare!” I responded.

“Yeah! Let's burn the tree!” The others from the crowd said. “No! Stay back!”

“Don't you dare touch anything here, alright?” I told them. “Listen up! You all heard his response, right!”

“Did you not realize that his answer is sufficient evidence that my team and I were telling the truth about this place?” One of the four guys reiterated.

“He's correct; apprehend him!” Some members of the crowd responded, raising the firewood in their hands.

“Okay! That's enough!” An Officer there shouted. “We are the Officers!”

“It is our responsibility to make decisions,” the Officer continued. “Exactly!” The other Officers agreed. “Young man! What is happening here?”

“Can you share what you know about the forest?”

“Is there anything in the forest that endangers the residents' lives?” One Officer asked me.

“I constructed this treehouse quite some time ago, but I have never encountered anything out of the ordinary.”

“Why do you ask?” I replied to the Officer, questioning why. “Ah! He's lying!”

“Get him, Officer!” One of the four guys told the Officer. “Please be quiet! Let him answer!”

“Could you please be quiet, sir?” The Officer responded to the guy. “Alright! Young man?”

“As the resident here, you are under arrest!” The Officer informed me. “What? Are you joking or serious?”

“But why?”

“What did I do, Officer?” I asked the Officer. Even after demonstrating my innocence, the Officers took me into custody, mounted me on a horse, and proceeded with me. What I suspected was that it was the four guys who saw the Spirit bathing in the River, then called Authorities, and they reunited some residents to come burn the Magical Tree. Damn it!

I wasn't there, but I was right—it was indeed the four guys who caused the people to come burn out the Magical Tree.
