As he turned to leave, I couldn’t help saying; “Perhaps I could interest you in a discount prepaid funeral with all the trimmings. You’ll be saving money as it will cost more tomorrow.” I could see the little hairs on the back of his neck bristle as he stoically walked to the door. But, he too, couldn’t help himself, as when he put his hand on the knob he semi-turned and semi-said; “You know ........ “
I semi-replied; “Yeah, you know I know ........ “
