Their abilities to accomplish their goals is expected to flourish, with their agenda becoming popularly known, though not known as being used sarcastically, as “Progressive,” suggests I had always unintentionally hidden my trait of disinterest.
Wanting to appear as others expected, I always feigned interest in whatever they were interested in bringing up.
This is where Tony (Toro) Calabrese and I bonded somewhere around third grade, and off and on throughout grammar and high school. He was just the opposite. A short Sicilian, everything was important to Tony (Toro) Calabrese. A classic case of
“little man’s syndrome” he, at 5’4” needed to set the agenda and be in charge. Since I didn’t care, our relationship worked fairly well. It might have worked better if he didn’t periodically detect a hint of my humoring him, and if I had been able to not show the sarcasm when things were particularly insipid.
Nonetheless, it worked better than most others.

Poetic music always an interest of mine, a song came to mind. I wasn’t suicidal, but I could take or leave it, if I chose.
