Commoner Blake stood waiting in the foyer of Chivalry Chapel. Standing next to Templar McCalare, his wife and child, ready to leave with him back to his kingdom.
Tauna with Liam meeting Commoner Blake. “I’m truly grateful for you to take in Our Templar and his family, living in safety and happiness for the rest of their lives.”
Commoner Blake, with grateful smile. “Anything for my Queen of Chivalry Chapel. Our daughter Tauna Celece was born yesterday.”
Tauna, with joy. “ That is wonderful news. And now, I bid you farewell.”
Liam and Tauna, watching them leave, stood in marvel of their experience, then walking hand in hand onward to Inspector Crouse’s retirement party.
Tauna inquired. “I couldn’t imagine thousands years later to the survival of the Templars, how did they do it.”
Liam, explained. “A lot of question still remain.”
The King of France, Philip IV, due to debt and avarice, orchestrated the downfall of the Templars, leading to the arrest of many knights.
The Templar’s Order was officially bannished in 1312. Many individual Templars survived either by joining other military orders, becoming pensioned monks, or returning to secular life. Some also formed underground networks, though historical evidence for their continuation as an organized entity into the present day is scarce and heavily debated.
Some even rebranded their names in order to survive to escape and live on to continued their lineage, through secrecy of families. The Order's assets and members were largely integrated into other institutions.
Tauna, inquired. ‘What really did happen to the Templars after they went missing?”
Liam looking into the far distance.” We may never know love. But this I do know. That where ever peace and love is located, that’s where we all are.”
