Liam, with tight lip scowl. “So King Winfred, laced my drink with that drug. The bloody bastard has poisoned me so that when the time has come for embattlement, I could not fight back. Lovely ol chap, wouldn’t you say?”

Inspector Crouse, “Indeed. And to add to this. Apparently, the king has already taken over two other villages and another kingdom. Chivalry Chapel was the last one on his list to conquer.”

Bren racing into the room. “Liam! I did it! I have the remedy! I found the information in Sir John Drake’s parchment papers. It’s called, turmeric. I have called a pharmacist to create the concoction for cure to make a mixture to be put into pill form. It will take time for your body time to readjust to heal. But will not be over night.”

Tauna paced back and forth.“And while we wait, there is a growing threat to the coming kingdom.”

Liam, sighed. “Yes, I know. And we, our community will fight the enemy off.”

Tauna, quickly turning to him. “Fight the enemy off!? Liam, you can not fight anyone in your condition. You will still be in treatment! No. I shall take up arms myself.”

Liam stood fast in front of her. “No! You will not! You are good a novice as I taught you, but you do not have the capability of good fighting skills needed to combat in battle. Trey will take my place until I totally heal.

Tauna, thinking it through. “Fine. Then Devon will take his rightful place as Sir knight next to him. Crouse will lead the way.”
