Author’s Letter:
As I finally end this book series, Detective Liam Niles, Book 2, The sequel, I wanted to press upon the reason why I wrote it.
In my first book, Detective Liam Niles, The Diarium of Lady Tauna Drake, I wanted to build the characters. It consist of adventure of solving clues, action of swordfighting and romance between Detective Liam Niles and Tauna Drake. He was meant to be today’s medieval Knight in trench coat solving mysteries similar to Brother Cadfael in his time frame, but in my own right for today. So at this moment, I want to credit Ellis Peters.
I almost did not write the sequel, but, I felt something was not complete, not giving him clear evidence of who Detective Liam Niles is. So, I felt the need to continue with the sequel, but to have him reprise his role in a deeper sense of who he is.
In my last word, If there was ever such a real Detective Liam Niles in life, coming out from the depts of my imaginative mind, from my written story onto paper, then materialized before me, for the love of God, you betcha I would grab him.

Sir Knight John Drake was my real life 12th Great Grandfather from Devon, England of the year 1586. Parts of this story are true but fabricated. For Example. The character of Dayn McConol derives from the Legend, Sir Knight Francis Drake, in his voyage, sailed to The Pacific Northwest in Oregon territory, in search for his fortune with his quest mission from Queen Elizabeth of England. Whereas, Sir Knight John Drake, Sir Bernard’s son, also took voyage with Sir Francis Drake.
The character, Pastor Connor Drake’s ancestor, Sir Knight John Drake, derives from the my real life 12th Great Grandfather, Sir Knight John Drake, but the family feud of ownership of Chivalry Chapel is true but fabricated. The ‘chapel’ deriving from The Drake Ashe Estate. The feud between Sir Francis Drake’s claim of his part in the family Wyvern dragon coat of arms rose tension debates with Sir John Drake’s son, Sir Knight Bernard Drake of who owns in bestowment from his father of The Drake Ashe Estate in Devon, England after a collaboration agreement of collateral funds with signatured documents, something pledged as security for repayment of a loan, to be forfeited in the event of a default, in fact was defaulted, but clamant of family ties of surname still in debate. A collision in mistrust of afterward funds between Sir Bernard Drake’s subordinate to Sir Francis Drake leading into further bloodline debate of proof of family coat of arms, a proof a person having the same descent in a family. Detective Liam Niles, A British Englishman, a modern medieval like knight, derives from the delineation of Sir Knight John Drake.
