Later that night. Mariam, just coming from the bathroom in her night clothes looking slenderly all slinky, just as the last time he saw her. His eyes roaming all over her, as she gets into her bed, turning out the light. The moonlight shining from their window.

Sir William lay on his side keeping his wander eyes on her.”Mariam. Are you comfortable?”

Mariam, sighed. “Yes William. Thank you.” she crawled into her bed.

Sir William, “Your welcome love.”

Mariam, with a slight smirk. Looked down to him from the bed. “Now where have I heard those words before?”

Sir William, grinned. “Bloody hell Mariam. The moonlight on your body contours of a vision of beauty.”

Mariam, sees the shape of his robust arms. “Thank you William. I see you still have your fine built.”

Sir William, humble. “Thank you love. Let me know if you need anything during the night.”

Mariam’s grin turned dull. Giving a long exhale. Lay her head flat, turning away from him.

Sir Willaim, seeing her lonely face.” Mariam, Are you ok?”

Mariam, taking another big breath and sigh.

Sir Willam in concern, sat up, goes to her, sits on her bed. “Marriam, my love?”

Mariam sat up in bed. Lost for words.

Sir William, careful with words. “I over heard about Sir Ralphane Belger. I need to apologize to you in my stupidity.”

Mariam, with compassionate forgiveness, with only a few inches away from each other of relentless staring, her hand reaching up to gently touch his face.” No my William. It is I that apologize to you. For leaving you and our two sons.” As he leaned in toward her, as she leaned into him inch by inch until just at that last inch, their lingered tender kiss achieved. Then pulling away for a moment, about to reinter into the quicker second kiss, then boom, they accidentally banged each other on their noses, pulling back. “Ouch! She exclaimed.

Sir William, “You ok?!”

Mariam, throwing a pillow at him. “Go back to your bed, I’m going to sleep!”

Sir Willam, “What? But why?!”

Mariam, “Just do it before I throw another pillow at you!”

Liam, walking down the hall just coming in from duty, hearing his parent’s fussing, stopped to hear, then, with a silly dimpled grin, moved onward to his room.

The next morning, Mariam stood on the bridge among the lush garden Bren stood with her.

Mariam. In awe. “What a beautiful garden.”

Bren, smiled. “Yes. Thanks to Tauna as Lady of Chivalry Chapel’s request. And just in time of the Jubilee.”

Mariam, looking into the distance. “Lady Tauna. She even has a beautiful name worthy of Sir Arthur’s Camelot. And what is her full royal surname?”

Bren stood in pride. ”She is Lady Tauna Marie Drake Niles. Born and bred in a fine bloodline of Sir Knight John Drake from her father, Connor Drake, the twenty eighth great grandson, She is to be a fine noblewoman to take over The Chivalry Chapel. As her son Devon and grandson, Young William will one day follow.”

Mariam, in humble. “ Named after my Sir William. And my son, Liam. That in itself is an honor.“ She gripped hard on the bridges’s railing in nervousness. “Is Tauna opposed to me?”

Bren, looking straight at Mariam in puzzlement. “ God Lord no. And why would you say that?”

Mariam, twisting her hands upon the rail. “She seemed quite aloof from me. I wouldn’t want to give her the wrong impression that I will be a distant mother in law to her. Silly me. Of course I know I only ask out of past experience from my own absent dealings.”

Bren, taking her hand in care. “Tauna is not like that. Its just been years to just find out of her sudden gain of Mom-n-law. Give it time. She’ll come around.”

Mariam, turns to Bren enchantedly curious. “Just….how old is Tauna? I know my Liam is fourty seven now.”

Bren turns to Mariam. “Twenty eight.” With a slight grin.

Mariam, not much surprised. “Well that would have made them at what age of their first incounter.”

Bren giving quote. “Love is not bound by age, but by the bondage of that love.”

Mariam, giving her last thought. “Quite sexy.”

Bren, agreed. “Quite.”

Mariam, taking a big sigh. “And Sir William. There was not a day gone by that I didn’t think of him. On our first night since years of being apart. Last night. In our accidental exchange of intimacy. I wanted him to ravish me non stop in lovemaking, but also, didn’t want anything to do with him. Does that seem confusing?”

Bren, in compassion. “No. Not at all.

Mariam, sighed.“I terrible missed him with all my being. I suppose I am still very much in love with him. On our barely second kiss, thought we were about to hit homerun in touchdown, until we banged our noses together. So I did the honorable thing. I threw a pillow at him, telling him to go back to his bed. ”

Bren, with fun smirk. “Well here is my advice, woman to woman. Go on. Try again tonight.“

Mariam, giving her greatful expression.
