At the dinner table, Jack came, sat down.

Tauna, giving Jack a cautious staring look.

Pastor Connor, taking out the ancient manuscript, placing the book onto the table, he verified.

“In the rights of your father, Dayn McConol and your lineage forefather, Sir Knight Blackwood,. You indeed have been bequeathed as beneficiary inherited rights to a part to Chivalry Chapel. You are entitled the guest house adjacent to the chapel. Your coat of arms have given this proof. And you shall have it. But I must add this. According to my forefather Sir Knight John Drake…..it was done in an underhanded circumstances….becoming too late for acknowledgement after the signatures between both Sir Drake and Sir Blackwood were signed, therefore, yours by rights.”

Tauna, along with Liam, Trey, family. Giving each other bleak faces of sad reality.

Jack, slyly giving a smile. “Thank you Pastor. I shall prepare my living quarters.” Pulling his chair away from the table, taking his two fingers- to- forehead military-salute to the pastor, then leaves to his new home.

Trey, veered at Connor. “ Connor, Pastor Drake. Surely You can’t mean this to happen to the family!”

Pastor Connor, stood vigilant. “Trey, I’m a man of the cloth. I stand by God in truth. And I must speak in truth. The man has his rights.“

Trey, annoyed. “And where does that leave the future of Chivalry Chapel? “

Liam, sighed. “ Trey, calm yourself.”

Trey, more annoyed. “Connor. Do not allow him to have a foothold on your bloody fort knox from your heirs, Tauna, Devon, your Great Grandson!”

Pastor Connor, Veered back at him. “DON’T YOU THINK I KNOW THAT???!!!!”

Liam, calm. “Trey, I said calm yourself!”

Trey, maddened. “YES. BUT YOUI HAVE THE POWER TO OVERTAKE HIM!!!”

Inspector Crouse, reached over, placing his hand on trey’s shoulder to ground him. “At Ease, Trey, at ease. We can resolve this without anarchy.”

Bren, reached out to her grandchild taking his hand. “Devon, Breyen, I think we should take William out now.” Bren, followed by Devon, Breyen, Tremen, Lauren, taking the five year old from the table, left the room.

Tauna, hearing this, with an unfair disgust look of displeasure. “Father, will you please excuse me, I shall retire to my room now.” She respectfully pulled her chair from the table, left the room.

Liam, with a huge sigh, gets up from his seat, goes after her.

In the corridor,Tremen Niles looked to his side seeing the presence of a maiden girl , leaving from family, going to her. “Saren. What is it.?”

Saren, divulged with serious face. “Tremen. We need to talk.” Tremen, taking her hand into his, takes her into a hidden corner.

Liam, seeing Tauna next to the sanctuary’s aura of lit candles. Goes to her. “Tauna.”

Tauna turns to him. “I’m alright.”

Liam, touches her shoulder. “You sure?”

Tauna, look at him in affection. “Yes, I am. I just need time to adjust in the ACCeptance to that vile man’s vindication.”

Liam, gently squeezed her shoulder. “None of us like the answer but your Father has the said his final say. And we must honor that. But know this. I will be keeping an eye on Jack.”

Tauna gave him an unsavory look. “Is that the best we can do? To continue to keep lurking around corners in Jack’s shadows of the unknown, for the rest of our lives?”

Liam, gave her an eagle-eyed-look. “Little Girl, you’ve always

known I have honored and protected the fortress of your ancient castle and it’s descendants with my life. That shall never end.”

Tauna sighed. Took his hand in care. “Liam, you know how much I dearly love you. My detective knight. That too shall never end. And as father relinquished Chivalry Chapel to me, I want you to know that whatever becomes of us and this ancient castle, Chivalry Chapel and its descendants will reign to even withstand the wiles of the adversary.”

Liam pulled her close to himself. “And your detective knight will be right by your side.” He kissed upon her tender lips. “Now I shall attend to my duties as such. Trey will assist me in the fitting of Sir Knight Drake’s armor to seek for answers. I shall be back to give the answers to the solved clues.” He touched her face, walked away.

Tauna, smiled at him, watched him leave, looked into the direction of Jack’s guest house of his late father adjacent to Chivalry Chapel. In unfeeling disregard of him she stood in despondence. With unforgiving objection, and injustice in her eyes, taking a lit candle from the candlestick holder, she stood in prayerful contemplation.

Trey readily on his way to meet with his brother, curtsied to her.” Lady Tauna. My Duties Call.” Passing her by.

Tauna, giving a coy expression, began her way taking candle with prowling steps down the long dusk of corridor. The burning wick of the flames guiding her every step toward the end of the corridor until she reached Jack’s room, stopped for a moment to look around, then obscurely proceeded to enter inside. The rare view of once a time seen. She sees in front of her, an open curtain on the wall exposing the Coat of Arms emblem that once belonged to Sir Knight Blackwood. A picture of Dayn McConol hanging next to it. The memories of Dayn, her once long ago prearranged promised fiancé, now just a fading distant memory.

Jack, nonchalantly met her on the other side of the room. “Welcome to my humble abode. Please feel free to join me. And just like my father, from Sir Knight Blackwood, I too have plans. My plans to have a shared lineage for future generations as part of Chivalry Chapel. This is my destiny. By rites.”

Tauna, stood vigilant. ”You mean hijacked it from my forefather Sir Knight John Drake. The legacy of Sir Drake will be honored. And I shall honor him by avenging his enemy.”

Jack took a threatening step forward at her. “It’s my right to have it. And I shall HAVE IT!!!”

Tauna, stood adamant. “IT WILL BE FORFEITED!!!”

Jack, with spiteful glare. Fast approaching her, with one step too close to her face.

Tauna, with brute lips, taking her empty firm hand, slaps him across his face in fury.

Jack, with a jolting flinch jilt , his face quickly shifts sideways, quickly facing her again.

Tauna, in disgust. “You dare to defy and malign my family surname of Drake! With your wretched malicious schemes!!! There! I have given you thorough warning and without signet wax stamping of this treacherous agreement between you and me as alliances. I AM LADY TAUNA MARIE DRAKE NILES OF CHIVALRY CHAPEL. DON’T YOU EVER FORGET THAT!!!” She said out loud to him in old english accent. “Be VERY, careful where you step in my kingdom!” Giving him a dark glare of disapproval, she turned from him, leaving, the candle’s lit wick whoosed in movement.

Jack, with spiteful glare, dared once again. “ And now that I have it, then I shall over throw for what my father fought for. Chivalry Chapel. It WILL be mine!” He shouted out to her.

Tauna, once again, turning back to him, taking a few steps forward. “WRONG! You mean, mine!” In defiance, taking the candle, she throws the burning flame unto the curtain as it quickly lit up on fire.

Jack, stunned, “NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!”

Tauna, taking small steps backwards to see the red flames dispersed throughout room, getting higher and higher as the flames reach up to the ceiling.

Jack, grabbing the curtain, ripping it from the rod, then thrashing hard against the hot fire of flames, desperately trying to put out the flames, but to no avail. ”YOU BLOODY NO GOOD FOR NOTHING DIRTY WITCH!!!

Tauna, satisfied, turned to leave the burning room without repentance.

Jack, acknowledging the slow demise of his now dwindling inheritance, dropped the remains of the burnt offerings of lineage, now scorched curtain, goes after her. “TAUNA!!!”

Tauna, stops, turns to him in justified disgust.

Jack, ruthlessly fetches his sword from the mantel, goes after her with a hurling swing.

Tauna, seeing his threatening demeaner, taking her hand, retracts her own sword from her side, parries his sword in self defense. Then swings her sword back at him in justice.

Jack, in a moment of dispositioned embattlement, his sword

ripped out of his hand as it fell to the stone floor with a loud thud, losing his valor in front of her gallantry. Enraged, taking his hands, grabbing her wrists, holding tight in stronghold, his teeth gritted as her sword fell out of her hand, thumping the stone floor.

Jack gave his superior grin. “And I shall also take my father’s bride that was promised to him, that was taken away from him by that jackal Detective Liam Niles!!! That so called-Sir-Knight- Liam -Niles!!!! Pulling her towards his bed. “I declare our marital, til death do us part!!” Then forcing her unto his self proclaimed marriage bed, the flames raging around them. “If the inheritance of my forefather falter’s into flames, so will Sir Drake’s. Neither one of us gets Chivalry Chapel-as it will go down with both of us in flames!!!”

Tauna, hitting and slapping him, kicking her way out of his bed. “You will not have Chivalry Chapel it belongs rightly to me as Sir Drake gave it!!!” Kneels him in his groin with her knee, as he yelped in intense pain, released her from bondage, she escapes from his bed.
