Delineation

Liam, Devon stood side by side in attendance

In ritual. Standing in honor, Tauna stood facing her father,

Pastor Connor Drake. With his two bent fingers, shifting his

hand side to side, he recited the holy scriptures. “

The foyer door suddenly opened in haste, a tall man of six feet

with, darken eyes briskly entered into the room.

Pastor Connor look straight at him.

Bren, seeing Tauna, Liam, Devon followed everyone’s view at

him.

The man, with begrudging indented brows, looked at Tuana.

Places his sword in front of himself with a loud tap.

Pastor Connor focus at him. “You have come upon sacred

ground of family vows of our forefather Sir Knight Drake,

enter in with care.”

The man, steadfast in stance. “I come in the name of Sir

Knight Blackwood.”

Liam, indenting his brows in question.

Pastor Connor, stood diligent. “And you are?”

The man, his face, upright in pride. “ Jack McConol. Dayn

McConol’s son.”

In alert, Tauna veered at Liam.

Pastor Connor, “It can’t be. This is done in sacrilege in the

name of Sir Knight John Drake.”

Jack McConol, adamant. “I lay claim to my inheritance. In the

name of my father, I have rights as benedictory of Chivalry

Chapel.”

Pastor Connor, “Son of Dayn McConol, in acknowledgement

to ancestor, Sir Knight Blackwood, you must present proof of

arms in your claim. Or else you can not come forward with

such claims.”

Jack, taking a step forward, grasped his wyan dragon broach

with his hand as proof. “ THIS IS MY PROOF!!!”

Tauna, in her pride, moved forward. “ WHERE IS YOUR COAT

OF ARMS FOR PROOF??!!”

Jack, giving her a glare of resentment, slyly looking at the

chancery door with menaced eyes. He approaches.

Pastor Connor, with alerted eyes. “You shall not enter upon

sacred grounds!!!”

Liam, going after him, grasping him with strong robust hands

in prevention to entering. “Jack McConol! You sorry sod son

of a bastard of Blackwood!!!

Jack, struggling to be released from his grip, scuffled with

Liam. Trey going to his brother’s side. Inspector Crouse

coming to their rescue, grasped Jack’s arms, forcing his arms

in back of him. Jack, sees Devon looking at him. “ Devon Drake

Niles!! This is not the end. My vows to Sir Knight Blackwood

will prevail!! In the name of my father, Dayn McConol. I shall

seek to defeat you for the glory of my heritage of

inheritance!!!!”

Devon, taking a step forward, stood forthright with warning.

“I have studied the ancient documents of Chivalry Chapel

since childhood. It is my riteful duty to duly sanctify in the

name of my forefather Sir Knight John Drake’s effigy by

homage. To protect the fortress of our kingdom of any

challenge that may come. To seized to any attempt to

malign the family surname. I shall seek to defeat of this Sir

Blackwood!”

Jack, pulling away with a hard jerk, taking his sword, hurling it

at him.

Devon, with sword by his side, parried his sword against his.

Jack lunged back at him regaining once again as he swung his

sword at his opponent, with harder gritted teeth.

Devon parried his sword against his opponate’s sword,

blocking him.

Jack, his sword redirects back to himself, the sword piercing

into his body. Taking his hand, he touched his side to see his

own blood oozing from his body. Looks at Devon with

remorseful vengence, then falls to the floor in defeat.

Devon, gripping his sword in victory.

Trey, liam, standing valiant to the end. Connor, Bren, Tauna

in closure.

The Legend’s Descendant

 

The morning shone bright. In the sanctuary Sir Devon Niles

dressed fashionably in noble clothing stood before the alter of

his grandfather, Pastor Connor Drake,

Pastor Connor Drake, in his finery Cassock clothing, recited.

“Devon Liam Connor Drake Niles. As 30th Descendant of Sir

John Drake. It is with great honor and privilege, to present to

you with the key to the chancery. A high honor as Nobleman

gatekeeper to Chivalry Chapel.” Connor handing him the key,

touched his face with pride and love. “You now take your

place beside your father, Honorary Sir Knight Liam William

Niles.” Godspeed my Grandson.”

The congregation stood in reverence and cheerful clapping.

Trey, taking his fingers, placing it his mouth blowing loud

prideful whistles out him.

Tauna, Lauren, Tremen, clapping with pride, Tauna, in tearful

joy.

Liam stood the most of proud to his son, with hearty claps

louder than any. Holding back wetted eyes.

In the great hall family greeting everyone. Inspector Crouse

shaking Liam’s hand. “Liam, Devon, congratulations son.

You’re a reflection of your father.

Devon, holding out his hand to shake. “Thank you Sir. I shall

serve well.”

Bren, in charge of the party. “Ok everyone, the cake!” let’s do

it!” Everyone follows her to the big wooden table taking their

seats.

Liam stays behind next to Inspector Crouse. “Report please.”

Inspector Crouse. “The authorities have taken Jack McConol

into exile into an undisclosed location where there is no place

for him to be reached. There he will reside for the rest of his

life. I’d say that is fair for all.”

Liam stood with accepted approval. “And I have taken a

further step. I have put in writing. Under the name of Dayn

McConol. If he tries his escape he is to be put under firing

squad, no questioned asked. I have already burned of any

proof of said document. There is no tracing it back to us? Do

not speak of this with any member of my family. It will perish

at my time.”

Inspector Crouse. concurred. “ I have always had your back,

my friend. You have my solemn oath.”

Liam stood poised. “Cake?”

Inspector Crouse. “Yes please.”

Side by side, they walk like a band of brothers into the great

hall.

That night…..

The party continued throughout the night. Lady Tauna Drake

Niles, Just coming out from the party, stood taking her

moment of time to stand with scenery of the Chivalry

chapel’s stain glass window.

Liam, just coming out, goes to her, placing his arms around

her.

Tauna, wrapping her hands around his arm, held him tight.

“One day we will be like those depictions for all to see.

Showing the light of our love for each other.”

Liam, giving her a pecking kiss on her head. “And the token

button along with it.”

Tauna, smiling in much deep love with him. “Yes. And

someday, the story in all its glory. Of Nobles, and a Knight n

his Trench coat. Let it be told.”
