Michael’s Parents Are Scared For Him And Want Him To Leave Diane D
The following day, Michael and his mother Fiona and his father Franklin are standing and talking inside the lobby of the mental institution as they each hold a cup of coffee. Fiona then says, “So how did the therapy go this morning Michael?”
“It went pretty good Mom,” Michael says.
“It did? How has it been coming along so far?”
“Well, it’s helping me slow down the nightmares I’ve been getting.”
“About what you saw and witness Diane did inside that hypnosis room, huh.”
“Yep.
“How is Diane doing so far Michael?” Franklin asks. “How is her state of mind? Is she still upset about people not purchasing tickets for the front seats near the stage?”
“Yeah Dad she’s real pissed off about it. She is not in a good mood today and we certainly don’t need that.”
“I know what you mean.”
“How do you feel staying married to her Michael?” Fiona asks. “You’re my son and I’m worried about you. I’m worried about all of you after what Diane did last year!”
“I know Mom,” Michael says, “but what can I do? People keep asking me ‘how can I stay married to someone like Diane after what she did’.”
“I’m wondering that myself too son,” Franklin says. “How can you stay married to someone after they brutally slaughtered six people?!”
“It was her ‘other’ personality who did that Dad, she didn’t know what she was doing! Besides I still love Diane and I don’t want to lose her. I’ve been with her so long that her family became my second family.”
“Michael, you can always come back home to your first family, us!” Fiona shouts.
“We’re your parents! I’d rather have you living back at home with us than stay here! I mean this is a beautiful place and everything, it looks like a palace! I wish I can live here, but I don’t want you to stay here and risk being in danger by your own wife! You were already in danger by her inside that hypnosis room when she threw that psychiatrist couch right over you AND her family members’ heads practically skinning your heads! You all could have been killed that day right along with those authority 97
figures and the priest, if not killed, you all could have been seriously injured by her!”
“It was her other personality Mom.”
“It doesn’t matter if it was her other personality or not Michael, it’s still Diane’s physical body people are gonna see! Stop making excuses that it was her other personality!”
“It’s not excuses Mom, it’s the truth, it was her other personality causing all that chaos!”
“There was no way for any of you to stop her other personality’s cold-blooded massacre?!”
“No Mom, there was no way! We tried to stop Diane’s other personality’s wrath, but we couldn’t even get close to her physical body, not with her other personality spinning her body around so fast while those long broken pieces of chains were still attached to her physical body, causing those chains to swirl around her body like whips! If we had come close to Diane’s body, we would have definitely got whipped by those long broken pieces of chains! It was bad enough that Diane’s own body itself was being whipped by those long broken pieces of chains and those long broken pieces of chains were whipping her body hard! She was literally getting beat up by those chains, but she just kept spinning her body around like she didn’t even feel those chains whipping her!”
“Oh God!”
“Those chains were whipping her right in the face too!”
“In her face too?!”
“Yeah, her face looked like she just came right out of a boxing match!”
“Out of a boxing match?!” Franklin shouts.
“Yes!”
“Oh God!”
“That’s why it was impossible to stop her other personality’s wrath! Imagine what we would have felt if those chains had hit and whipped us! We would have been seriously injured too!”
“Imagine what those authority figures and the priest had felt when that psychiatrist couch slammed right into their heads from across the room at sixty miles an hour!
Some of them got injured, some got killed!”
“I know Dad. Diane’s other personality was just too powerful for anybody to try and take down! When Diane was lying unconscious in the hospital, she had sores and wounds all over her face and body from those chains whipping her and from when she broke loose from them! They had to get her X-rayed to see if she had any broken bones!
Thank God she didn’t have any broken bones! When she finally woke up, that’s when she felt the pain, but had no idea where the pain came from! She had no idea where the sores and wounds on her body came from either, and to this day, she still don’t remember how she got those sores and wounds on her body!”
“Oh God Michael!” Fiona shouts. “I really feel sorry for Diane, I really do! And I’m so sorry you and her family had to go through this ordeal! I’m sorry for all those who lost their lives and all the others who got seriously injured, but thank God you and Diane’s family all came out of it alive and unscathed, even though you all practically missed that heavy psychiatrist couch when it flew right above your heads!”
“Yeah Mom, that psychiatrist couch missed us by a few inches when Diane’s other personality threw it right over our heads at the police officers! If none of us had ducked in time, that psychiatrist couch would have definitely slammed right into all of our 98
heads instead of those authority figures’ heads and we would have been the ones laying across the floor injured or dead!”
“What made you and her family all of a sudden duck from that psychiatrist couch anyway?!” Franklin asks.
“I don’t know. It was like an automatic instinct that none of us can explain!”
“An automatic instinct?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow Michael,” Fiona says. “I’m glad you all had that instinct to duck and get your heads out of the way in time, but even though you all had that instinct, I’m still worried about all of you! You might have been lucky that time, but there is no guarantee that any of you will be lucky the next time!”
“I hope there is no next time Mom.”
“But it could be a next time Michael!” Franklin shouts. “It could be! That’s why you should move back home with us before there is a next time! Come back home Michael, just come back home!”
“Dad, I just left staying at your place last week!”
“And you can come back and stay there again!”
“I appreciate it, but I think I’ll stay here for a while and spend some time with Diane.”
“Are you sure Michael?” Fiona asks.
“Yeah I’m sure.”
“Okay, but whenever you decide to come back home and move in, the door is always open.”
“Thanks Mom. Could I bring Diane with me if she’s let out on house arrest again?”
“What!” Franklin and Fiona shout.
“Bring Diane with you?!” Franklin shouts.
“Yeah,” Michael says. “She’s still your daughter-in-law.”
“Michael, not everyone has a daughter-in-law who committed a cold-blooded massacre! Not everyone has a daughter-in-law who killed six people, especially took down five authority figures and a priest! I mean WHO does that?! I don’t know any man OR WOMAN that can do that besides Diane!”
“I told you, it wasn’t Diane, it was her OTHER personality who did all that Dad! Her original personality can’t do any of that stuff!”
“But it was still her physical body doing that stuff Michael! How do we know, that her other personality won’t come into her physical body again and strike while she’s in our home on house arrest Michael?!”
“I understand. You don’t have to worry about me bringing your daughter-in-law to the house again.”
“Oh Michael!” Fiona shouts. “We understand that you feel trapped between both worlds, your wife’s world and your parents’ world. Believe me Michael, we have nothing against Diane’s original personality, we love her original personality!”
“That’s right Michael, we do,” Franklin says. “It’s that OTHER personality who’s putting everyone in terror! That’s why Diane’s family can’t sell out the front row seats near the stage, because no one wants to get caught in the chaos, just in case that other personality of hers happens to come out to the surface while she’s on stage and commits another cold-blooded massacre causing a stampede! She already caused a stampede when she did that levitation performance over in Germany and she might cause a 99
stampede at the fundraising concert too!”
“Dad, that other personality told the doctors, that it does not come into Diane to make her look like a fool!” Michael shouts. “It told the doctors that is not their mission!”
“It told the doctors it is not their mission to make Diane look like a fool? You actually heard her other personality say that to the doctors, huh Michael.”
“Yep, I sure did. I was there inside that hypnosis room. I heard and saw everything that happened in there. From what I heard that other personality say to the doctors, I don’t think it’s going to make Diane go crazy up there on that stage and make her look like a fool in front of everybody!”
“But it made her levitate in front of an entire audience in Germany, didn’t it?!”
“Oh Dad, there is no such thing as levitation! Nobody can levitate!”
“Well there were thousands of spectators and witnesses in Germany who swear they saw Diane levitate right before their eyes in one of her performances!”
“Well I didn’t see it, neither did any of her family members, so I don’t know what those spectators in Germany saw! Whatever it was they saw, it wasn’t Diane levitating!
All I know, is that other personality says it won’t make Diane look like a fool. It told the doctors that it will always protect Diane. It told Grandma Margarita the same thing when Grandma Margarita had an encounter with it inside Diane’s hospital room bathroom that night, that it will always be there for Diane and protect her no matter what.”
“Yeah I remember you telling me that Michael,” Fiona says. “Why is that other personality so protective of Diane?”
“That’s right Michael,” Franklin says, “why? Is it her guardian angel or something?”
“Maybe,” Michael says. “I wish I had a guardian angel.”
“A guardian angel that kills?”
“No Dad, of course not!”
“Yeah you should have a guardian angel Michael, a guardian angel that’ll protect you from Diane, I mean, protect you from her other personality!”
“I think he already has a guardian angel Franklin,” Fiona smiles and says. “After all, he DID make it out of that hypnosis room alive and well, didn’t he?”
“Yep, he sure did. I just hopes he makes it out alive and well next time.”
“There won’t be a next time Dad!” Michael shouts.
“Are you sure Michael?! Are you sure?!”
“Look Dad, all I know, is from what I heard that other personality say to the doctors, I think it loves Diane just as much as the rest of us do.”
“You think it loves Diane?”
“Sounds like it do.”
“Michael, if that other personality really loves Diane, she wouldn’t be where she’s at right now, locked up in the mental institution!”
“That’s why that other personality claims to take her place whenever she's locked up, so her original personality or original soul or spirit can roam free!”
“So her original personality or original soul or spirit can roam free? Roam free where?”
“In the universe!”
“In the universe?”
“Yes!”
100
“And while Diane’s original soul or spirit is somewhere in the universe roaming free, that other soul or spirit would enter her physical body and take her original soul or spirit’s place, right?”
“That’s what it told the doctors. But as long as Diane’s family members are here in the mental institute with her, you don’t have to worry about that other soul, spirit or other personality coming back into her physical body. It will stay away.”
“But why does that other soul, spirit or other personality stay away if Diane’s family members are around?”
“Because it wants nothing to do with her family.”
“It wants nothing to do with her family? How come?”
“It rather leave the family part to Diane’s original soul, spirit or personality, so her family has to be here in order to keep that other soul, spirit or other personality away.”
“God forbid if her family members weren’t here! That other soul, spirit or other personality would be inside her physical body right now and no one would even know it!” “People will know it now, because by now, everyone has already heard about it!
Why do you think the doctors and the hospital staff members want Diane’s family members here? Because ever since that other soul, spirit or other personality admitted to the doctors that it pulls Diane’s original soul or spirit out of her physical body and takes her original soul or spirit’s place whenever her physical body is locked up in jail or a mental institution but stays away from Diane’s physical body whenever her family members are around, everybody now knows that the other soul, spirit or other personality pulls Diane’s original soul or spirit out of her physical body and takes her original soul or spirit’s place whenever her physical body is locked up in jail or a mental institution, but stays away from Diane’s physical body whenever her family members are around.”
“So you mean from now on, whenever or where ever Diane gets locked up, her family members would always have to be locked up with her?”
“Yeah, if the doctors and hospital staff want that other soul, spirit or other personality to stay away.”
“But that other soul, spirit or other personality probably won’t get out of line or do anything in the jails or the mental institutions even if Diane’s family members aren’t around,” Fiona says. “It would probably just sit there like a quiet little mouse, as long as it’s taking Diane’s original soul or spirit’s place!”
“That’s the point Mom, the doctors and the hospital staff members don’t want that other soul, spirit or other personality here! It doesn’t matter whether or not it gets out of line or just sits there like a quiet little mouse, they don’t want that murderous personality here! Just the thought of it being here horrifies them even if it does sit there like a quiet little mouse!”
“But when Diane was locked up in jail several years ago, wasn’t that other soul, spirit or other personality inside her physical body at that time? And didn’t it behave like a quiet little mouse when a nurse came into Diane’s jail cell to check on her that morning? That other soul, spirit or other personality did not do anything to the nurse nor attacked the nurse while the nurse was inside the jail cell checking on Diane. The nurse claim that when she went into Diane’s cell to check on her, Diane opened her eyes a little and looked at her. She said once Diane opened her eyes and saw her, she said Diane kept staring at her and never once took her eyes off her, but yet Diane told 101
everyone she never saw a nurse inside her jail cell that day! Later on when the nurse learned that Diane didn’t remember ever seeing her inside the jail cell, she freaked out, then she started to wonder, ‘well if it wasn’t Diane’s original soul, spirit or personality looking at her staring at her inside that jail cell, then who’s soul, spirit or personality was it?’. Even though the nurse didn’t know or realize that it was another soul, spirit or entity inside of Diane’s physical body at that time, she still made it out of the jail cell unscathed!”
“That’s good Mom! I’m glad she made it out of that jail cell unharmed, but the bottom line is, the doctors and the hospital staff members still don’t want that other soul, spirit or other personality here inside this mental hospital regardless whether or not it causes chaos or just sits there like a quiet little mouse, that’s why they say Diane’s family members must be here with her at all times!”
“I don’t blame them!” Franklin shouts. “Thank God her family members are here!
Wow Michael, I don’t know how you deal with all of this! I just don’t know how!”
“By going to therapy Dad, by going to therapy.”
“When is your next therapy appointment Michael?” Fiona asks. “When are you supposed to go back to it?”
“Well I have an appointment first thing in the morning.”
“You do?”
“Yeah I figure I can spend the night here with Diane before I go to therapy.”
“Okay. Wow Michael, Diane is sure lucky to have you for a husband.”
“That’s true,” Franklin says. “I hope she appreciates you standing by her side after all she, I mean ‘that other soul, spirit or other personality’ did.”
“Thanks Dad,” Michael says.
“Hey Michael!” a male voice from the distance shouts. Michael, Franklin and Fiona turn and look across the lobby. They see Alex and some of the other Diaz-Davidson staff members standing near the front door.
“Hey guys!” Michael shouts. He starts to walk across the lobby towards Alex and the rest of the staff members as Franklin and Fiona turn and follow him.

Organization Staff Members And Diane D’s Relatives Come To Visit Her
Michael approaches Alex and the rest of the staff members as Franklin and Fiona stand behind him. “Oh my God!” Michael shouts as he, Franklin and Fiona approach Alex and the rest of the staff members.
“Hey how’s it going Michael,” Alex says as he and Michael shake hands. “Nice to see you again man!”
“Nice to see you too Alex!” Michael and Alex let go of each other’s hand as Michael says, “You remember my parents, right?”
“Yeah of course I do. How are you two doing?”
“We’re okay so far,” Fiona says.
“Yeah,” Franklin says. “We’re trying to hang in there.”
“Wow,” Alex says. “I’m sorry about what you’re probably going through right now with your daughter-in-law and everything.”
“Thanks.”
Michael turns to Alex and says, “Anyway, what are you guys doing here at the mental hospital?! I didn’t expect to see you here! What are you all doing here?!”
“Well,” Alex says, “we came to see Diane.”
“What? You came to see Diane? Excuse me? Am I hearing this right? You came to see Diane?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow! What made you all want to even come all the way up here to visit and see Diane? I thought you were all afraid of her after what she did.”
“We ARE afraid of her Michael. But it’s just that we all feel bad knowing she was hurt by the way we treated her.”
“Knowing she was hurt by the way you treated her? You mean by avoiding her like the plague?”
“Yes that, and the fact that everyone else in public seem to be avoiding her like the plague too by not purchasing tickets for any of the seats near the stage.”
“That’s right Michael,” Stephanie says.
Michael turns to Franklin and Fiona and says, “Mom, Dad could you excuse me for a minute? I’ll be right back.”
“Okay Michael,” Franklin and Fiona say.
Michael turns back to Alex and the rest of the staff members and says, “Step over 103
here for a minute.” Michael turns and walks down towards the other side of the lobby as Alex and the rest of the staff members turn and follow him.
Michael brings Alex and the rest of the staff members to the other side of the lobby.
He turns to them and says to them, “Look guys, I understand how everybody feels about what Diane did last year and believe me, I’m not knocking anybody for feeling the way they do, but Diane did not know what she was doing that day. She still doesn’t remember what happened that fateful day. She doesn’t remember any of it at all!”
“Still none of it?” Evette asks.
“Still none of it! All she remembers that day, is that the doctors were about to hypnotize her, then felt herself falling asleep. The next thing she knows, is that she’s waking up with excruciating pain all over her body as her family and I were hugging and holding on to her very tight and she had no idea where the excruciating pain was coming from! She says the next thing she knows, is that she’s laying in the hospital in pain wondering if she was in a car accident or did she get run over by something. She had no idea that the pain she was feeling all over her body were self-inflicted from when she broke loose from those chains!”
“My God that is terrible!”
“I know. Days later, she is being told that she killed six people! She got shocked when she heard that, she couldn’t believe it!”
“I bet she couldn’t!” Stephanie shouts. “My God, imagine being told that! I can imagine how Diane must have felt hearing that!”
“She felt real bad hearing about that because she says she’s not a killer, she does not go around harming or killing people! Then the next thing she finds out, is that she is being sent and locked up in a mental institution! To this day, she still doesn’t know why she’s in one, just like when she beat up and harmed that little boy Marcus! She says she does not go around beating up on children! The next thing she knew, is that she was being sent and locked up in a mental institution and didn’t know why she was in one at that time either!”
“My God Michael! Do you believe Diane beat up and harmed that little kid?”
“Yeah I believe it was her body that did it!”
“You do?”
“Of course I do! I don’t think that kid would make up a lie like that! I don’t think he had any reason to lie, I’ve seen what Diane did inside that hypnosis room last year, I was there. I saw what she or should I say ‘her other personality’ was capable of! Now if Diane is capable of doing something like THAT and not remember it, then her beating up that little boy and not remembering it is possible also. She says all she knows right now, is that people seem to be treating her like some type of monster and seem to be avoiding her like the plague. She feels that she is being judged and punished for something she doesn’t even remember doing! To this day, she still doesn’t believe she killed anybody!”
“She still doesn’t believe it?” Alex says. “So she still feels she’s innocent?”
“Yes she still feels she’s innocent! Diane said if she knew what was going to happen after she got hypnotized, she would not have allowed herself to be hypnotized! She said she would have never agreed to have it done if she knew all of this was going to happen and if she knew people were going to avoid her like the plague!”
“Wow,” Stephanie says. “We’re sorry for how Diane feels Michael. We would sure 104
like to apologize to her for our behavior, if it’s okay.”
“Well I have to check with her family. Does her family even know that you’re all here?”
“Well we spoke to Miss Margarita on the phone yesterday. She knows we’re coming today. She said as long as it’s okay with Diane, we can see her.”
“Okay. But I still have to let her give the permission in order for you guys to be sent upstairs.”
“Sure Michael, no problem.”
“Okay, I’ll be right back.” Michael turns and walks away back across the lobby towards Franklin and Fiona.
Michael approaches Franklin and Fiona and says, “You can come with me upstairs now.”
“Okay Michael,” Franklin and Fiona say. Michael turns and walks towards the back of the lobby to the elevator as Franklin and Fiona turn and follow him.
Michael, Franklin and Fiona approach the elevator then get into it as the elevator doors close behind them.
Fifteen minutes later, the elevator doors open. Michael comes out the elevator alone and walks back into the lobby towards Alex and the rest of the staff members.
Michael approaches Alex and the rest of the staff members as Alex says, “Hey Michael. Where’re your parents?”
“I left them upstairs with Diane’s family,” Michael says.
“Oh okay.”
“Grandma Margarita says I can bring you guys up now.”
“She did?” Evette asks.
“Yeah. Now before I bring you guys up, are you sure you want to see Diane?”
“Well what is she doing now?” Harvey asks. “Is she busy or anything?”
“Well, remember when you were all at the organization and went inside Grandma Margarita’s office to see Diane when she was sitting there in the chair right besides Grandma Margarita’s desk glaring at you all, hardly saying anything to you?”
“Yeah we all remember that. It was creepy, but what about it?”
“Well the same thing is happening right now.”
“What!” the staff members shout.
“The same thing is happening now?!” Harvey asks.
“Yes,” Michael says, “Diane is just sitting there in the chair right beside Grandma Margarita’s desk not saying anything.”
“Oh no, not again!”
“Why is she just sitting there like that again Michael?!” Evette shouts.
“Because Grandma Margarita is making her sit there,” Michael says.
“Miss Margarita is making Diane sit there like that again?!” Stephanie shouts.
“Don’t tell me that Miss Margarita has Diane glued to her desk again and not letting her get up from the chair which makes Diane upset, because I don’t know if I want to see Diane in that state of mind again!”
“Me neither!” Evette shouts. “It was creepy seeing Diane just sitting there next to 105
Miss Margarita’s desk looking at us with an evil eye, not saying a word to us knowing what she did last year! Nicolas told us that Diane was upset because Miss Margarita made her sit in that chair all day and didn’t allow her to get up from that chair at all!”
“Well Grandma Margarita is making Diane sit right in that chair again all day,”
Michael says, “and believe me, Diane’s not happy about it again.”
“I bet she isn’t! Why do Miss Margarita keep doing that to Diane, making her stay in that chair all day?”
“To keep an eye on her, what do you think?! Plus on top of that, Diane’s still upset about people not purchasing tickets for all the seats near the stage!”
“Doesn’t she know or realize, that SHE’S the reason people aren’t buying tickets for the seats near the stage?” Harvey says. “Doesn’t she know or realize that?”
“Not really.”
“Not really? She doesn’t know?”
“No.”
“Why not? No one told her?”
“Nope.”
“I don’t get it!” Stephanie shouts. “How come no one told Diane that SHE’S the reason why the seats near the stage aren’t being sold? How come no one told her yet?”
“Because no one wants her feelings to get hurt if she finds out that SHE’S the reason people aren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage! She’s already angry and pissed off about people not purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage, that we feel we don’t need to add to it!”
“Oh. I see.”
“So before I bring you guys up, are you sure you want to see Diane? Because you all look nervous! Are you sure you want to see Diane?” Alex and the rest of the staff members hesitate. They nervously look at each other. Michael then says, “I don’t hear yoouu. Are you guys sure you want to come up and see Diane, because if you change your minds and don’t want to see her, it’s fine, we can stop right here. Now I’m going to ask again. Are you guys sure you want to come upstairs to see Diane?” Alex and the rest of the staff members hesitate again. They nervously look at each other. Michael then says, “Now I know you all didn’t drive all the way up here for nothing! Are you guys ready to come up and see Diane or not?” Alex and the rest of the staff members hesitate again. They nervously look at each other again. They then look back at Michael.
“Michael,” Evette says, “if we do go up to see Diane, which personality would we be looking at, her original personality, or the OTHER one?”
“You mean which personality would be looking back at us,” Stephanie says, “her original personality, or the OTHER one?”
“Her original personality,” Michael says.
“Her original personality? Are you sure?”
“I hope.”
“YOU HOPE??!!” the staff members shout.
“Never mind Michael!” Harvey shouts. “I think we better stay down here, for our safety!”
“Oh come on you guys!” Michael shouts. “It’s NOT the other personality up there now.”
“NOW??!!” they staff members shout.
106
“Never mind again Michael!” Harvey shouts. “I think we still better stay down here!”
“Oh come on now!” Michael shouts. “Her OTHER personality isn’t there! Listen! If you guys want to hurry and see Diane, maybe you should all do it now before her OTHER personality comes back!”
“COMES BACK??!!” the staff members shout.
“Never mind again Michael!” Harvey shouts. “I think it will be safe if we stay down here!”
“Okay okay!” Michael shouts. “Her OTHER personality is NOT there.”
“Not there?”
“No it isn’t.”
“Are you sure Michael?” Evette asks. “Because we can stay down here! We don’t mind!”
“Don’t worry, her other personality isn’t there. You won’t be harmed.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes I’m sure. Come on. I’ll bring you all to see Diane. Are you all finally ready to see her?”
“I’m not so sure yet Michael,” Alex says.
“Don’t worry guys. Diane’s other personality is not there. Her family is up there with her.”
“They are?”
“Yes, so if her family is up there with her, then the other personality is definitely not up there.”
“Are you sure her family is up there with her?”
“Yes her family is up there with her, she’s surrounded by her family!”
“She is?”
“Yes!”
“Okay then, as long as her family is up there with her, then I guess we’re ready to go up and see her, at least we can stand behind her family and be safe.”
“You’ll be safe.”
“Good, and we want to see her ORIGINAL personality, not the OTHER personality, we want nothing to do with the OTHER personality!”
“You’ll see Diane’s ORIGINAL personality up there, NOT the OTHER one.”
“Are you sure? Are you sure it will be Diane we’ll be seeing and not the other personality?”
“It’ll be Diane you’re seeing.”
“Okay.”
“But before you guys come upstairs, you need to get rid of your camera phones for now.”
“Get rid of our camera phones?” Stephanie asks. “Why?”
“Because the hospital authorities and Diane’s family don’t want anybody coming here to take pictures or videos of Diane then try to sell it or post it online and we don’t want that.”
“Take pictures or videos of Diane then try to sell it or post it online? We had no intention of doing that Michael.”
“Yeah we’re not here to expose or exploit Diane Michael,” Alex says, “we just want to see her.”
107
“I know that,” Michael says, “but the hospital authorities and Diane’s family want to be on the safe side and make sure everybody turns in their camera phones. Don’t worry, you’ll all get your camera phones back when you leave the building.”
“Okay Michael, we understand.”
“Okay good. Let’s bring your camera phones to the security before I bring you guys up. Follow me.” Michael turns and walks away towards the security area as Alex and the rest of the staff members turn and follow him.
Margarita, Tomas, Gracy and Grandpa Mike are inside the upstairs hallway talking with Dr. Stone and another white male doctor Dr. Morgan as Dr. Stone says to them,
“Thank you Miss Margarita, Mr. Tomas, Miss Gracy and Mr. Mike. Thank you and your family so much for staying here to help keep an eye on Diane.”
“Yeah,” Dr. Morgan says. “We don’t know what would happen if you and the rest of your family members weren’t here! That other personality would creep right back into Diane and we wouldn’t even know it! The only reason why that other personality hasn’t creep back into Diane yet, is because you guys are here.”
“Yeah thank God. Is Diane still upset about people not buying the front seats near the stage at your concert?”
“Yeah she’s still hurt and upset about that Dr. Stone,” Margarita says.
“My God. So what are you all planning to do about those empty seats?”
“We don’t know yet,” Tomas says. “We’ll try to think of something.”
“Okay. But in the meantime, you’re not gonna have Diane sit and stay in that seat right next to your desk again, are you Miss Margarita?”
“Yep,” Margarita says. “I sure am.”
“All day?” Dr. Morgan asks.
“That’s right Dr. Morgan, all day. I have to keep my eye on Diane so she won’t sneak to meditate and won’t sneak from the chair again like she did at the organization. It was her meditations that got her into this trouble in the first place! Plus I have a lot of work to catch up on and I want Diane right next to me so I can keep my eye on her.”
“I understand Miss Margarita.”
“By the way Dr. Stone,” Gracy says, “how’s Dr. Kahn doing? Have you seen him lately?”
“Yes I’ve seen him lately Miss Gracy,” Dr. Stone says. “He’s pulling through from the injuries he sustained.”
“He is?!”
“Yes he is.”
“Wow that is so wonderful! I’m happy to hear that!”
“Thanks. He’s not really out of the woods yet, but hopefully he’ll get there.”
“I hope so too.”
“So what is he planning to do if he gets better?” Tomas asks. “Is he going to come back to his practice?”
“I’m afraid not Mr. Tomas,” Dr. Stone says. “I’m afraid he’s planning to take disability.”
“Disability?! Oh no! Sorry to hear that Dr. Stone! Is there any way our family can visit him or is there anything we can do for him?”
“No there’s not much anybody can do for Dr. Kahn Mr. Tomas, but he’ll appreciate 108
“How has your injury come along so far?”
“Well I pulled through a lot as you can see.”
“Well thank God! We’re so happy to see you’re still walking around.”
“Thanks.”
“By the way Dr. Stone,” Margarita says, “what ever happened to that dream you had about Diane’s other personality when we were all riding in the van to bring her here to the mental institution and you screamed because you had a dream that Diane’s other personality reached you from the back seat of the van, grabbed you by the neck and tried to strangle you while you driving the van, then you said the van went off a cliff with all of us in it! Have you ever had that dream or nightmare again and did it keep coming and repeating itself like that dream Marcus kept having of Diane?”
“No, thank God Miss Margarita, I’ve been lucky! Fortunately I only had that dream and nightmare of Diane’s other personality attacking me just that one time!”
“You only had that dream and nightmare one time since? You mean the dream and nightmare didn’t keep recurring over and over like in Marcus’ case?”
“No it didn’t. I guess that other personality, spirit or entity is not after me so far.”
“Wow! I’m so happy to hear that Dr. Stone!”
“Yeah me too!” Tomas says.
“Thanks,” Dr. Stone says.
The elevator doors down the other end of the hallway opens. An Alaskan Native family comes out of the elevator. An Inuit family comes out of the elevator behind them following the Alaskan Native family.
An Alaskan Native male in the front around his 60’s walks down the hallway. Two other Alaskan Native males around their mid-30’s walk down the hallway behind him followed by two Alaskan Native women and a few kids. The Inuit family walk down the hallway alongside them. They all walk down the hallway towards Margarita and Tomas.
The Alaskan Native man in the front looks down the hallway and shouts, “Tomas!
Margarita!”
Margarita, Tomas, Dr. Stone and Dr. Morgan turn their heads and look down the hallway. They see the Alaskan Native and Inuit families. Tomas then shouts, “Hey you guys!”
“Hey!” Margarita shouts to the Alaskan Native and Inuit families. “You made it!”
The Alaskan Native and Inuit families approach Margarita and Tomas as the first Alaskan Native male says, “Hey!” The Alaskan Native and Inuit families give Margarita and Tomas hugs.
“Well you finally made it here,” Tomas says. He then turns to Dr. Morgan and says,
“Hey Dr. Morgan, I would like you to meet some wonderful people.”
“Wonderful people?” Dr. Morgan asks. “Sure. Don’t tell me, I bet I know who they are.”“You do?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay. So who are they?”
“These are the martial arts instructors who be training Diane, right?”
“Martial arts instructors?”
109
“Yes, they came here to train Diane, right?”
“Wrong, they’re not martial arts instructors.”
“They’re not?”
“No.”
“Wait don’t tell me. These are people that your organization travels to, right?”
“Wrong again.”
“I’m wrong again? Okay, I give up. So who are they?”
“These are my family and relatives from Alaska and Canada.”
“What? Your family and relatives from Alaska and Canada?”
“Yes, Doctor Stone already knows them.”
“Oh yeah? I didn’t know you had relatives from Alaska and Canada Mr. Tomas. I thought you were from the Dominican Republic.”
“I am from the Dominican Republic. I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, but my people are from Alaska and Canada.”
“Alaska and Canada?”
“Yes. My family is Alaskan Native and Inuit.”
“Alaskan Native and Inuit? You’re Alaskan Native and Inuit?”
“Yes.”
“Wow! I didn’t know that! I thought maybe your background would be from an Asian country or something.”
“Could be, but as far as I know, I’m Alaskan Native and Inuit.”
“Wow! That’s interesting! Alaskan Natives and Inuit live way up North, almost near the North Pole, right?”
“Right.”
“Wow, that’s interesting!” Dr. Morgan turns to Tomas’ family and relatives, shakes their hands and says, “Nice to meet you all! Wow! I see a strong family resemblance between you all, especially those kids right there! Those kids look sort of like Diane!
They look like little Dianes over there!” Everyone smiles and laughs.
“My relatives came all the way from Alaska and Canada to see Diane.”
“They came all the way here to see Diane?!”
“Yes.”
“Wow that’s great! That’s wonderful! So when your family travels, do you travel to Alaska and Canada too where your people are from?”
“Yes we travel to Alaska and Canada all the time and stay with my family and relatives.”
“You do?”
“Yes.”
“Wow, that is so nice Mr. Tomas.”
The elevator doors down the other end of the hallway opens again. Michael comes out of the elevator as Alex and the rest of the staff members come out behind him.
Michael starts to walk down the hallway as the staff members follow him. He looks down the hallway and calls out, “Grandma Margarita! Grandpa Tomas!”
Margarita, Tomas, Dr. Stone, Dr. Morgan and Tomas’ family and relatives turn and look down the hallway. They see Michael and the staff members. Michael then shouts, 110
Margarita, Tomas, Dr. Stone, Dr. Morgan and Tomas’ relatives look at the staff members as Margarita shouts, “Hi guys!”
“Hi Miss Margarita, Hi Mister Tomas!” the staff members shout.
Michael looks at Tomas’ family and relatives and shouts to them, “Hey, I see you all made it up here!”
Margarita turns to Tomas, Dr. Stone, Dr. Morgan and Tomas’ family and relatives and says, “I’ll be right back.”
“Okay Margarita,” Tomas says.
Margarita turns and starts to walk down the hallway towards Michael, Alex and the rest of the staff as she shouts, “I see you’ve all made it!”
Margarita approaches Alex, Michael and the rest of the staff members. Alex and the staff members give Margarita a hug. “How are you doing Miss Margarita?” Alex asks.
“Well, I’m hanging in there,” Margarita says.
“Oh that’s good.”
“How are you guys doing?”
“Pretty good!”
“That’s good! How was the drive up here?”
“It wasn’t bad. Not bad at all. It’s such a beautiful scenery riding up here.”
“It sure is,” Stephanie says. “So how’s Diane doing Miss Margarita? Is she okay?
We hear she’s still upset about the tickets for the seats near the stage not being sold.”
“Yes she’s still upset about it,” Margarita says.
“Sorry to hear about that Miss Margarita.”
“Thanks.”
“Did Diane know we were coming Miss Margarita?” Evette asks. “I know you knew we were coming, but did Diane know that we were coming?”
“Yeah she already knew you guys were coming because I told her you were coming.”
“You did? How did she feel about it? What did she say?”
“She didn’t say anything about it, she just rolled her eyes.”
“What?” Stephanie says. “She rolled her eyes when you told her we were coming?”
“Yeah.”
“Wow, it sounds like she might still be hurt by us.”
“I don’t know Stephanie, she’s not saying anything about it, so I don’t know how she really feels, only she knows. Now if you want to see Diane, you better hurry up because they’re not going to keep this building open too long for visitors. Now are you sure you guys got rid of your camera phones for now?”
“Yeah we did Miss Margarita,” Alex says.
“Okay good, so you all go inside the office and visit Diane real quick. She’s sitting right there near my desk.”
“Okay.” Alex and the rest of the staff members hesitate. They nervously look at each other.
Margarita looks at them and says, “I said go inside the office and visit Diane. She’s sitting right there near my desk.” Alex and the rest of the staff members hesitate again.
They nervously look at each other again. Margarita puzzled looks at them and asks,
“Why aren’t you guys going in?”
111
“Well aren’t you coming in with us Miss Margarita?” Evette asks.
“You guys need me to go in with you?”
“Yes, if it’s okay.”
“The rest of my family is in there with Diane.”
“Oh the rest of your family members are here?” Alex asks.
“Yeah, and a lot of my family and relatives from the Dominican Republic are in the room with Diane too.”
“They are?”
“Yes.”
“Wow, it’s like you all are having a family reunion up here.”
“Sort of. You guys don’t have to worry about going in there alone, go ahead in there.
I’ll be there in a few minutes. I have to go back and speak with the doctors.”
“Okay Miss Margarita.”
“I’ll take them in Grandma,” Michael says.
“Thanks Michael,” Margarita says.
Michael turns to Alex and the rest of the staff members and says, “Follow me.”
Michael turns and heads towards the office door as Alex and the rest of the staff members turn and nervously follow him.
Inside the office, Nicolas, Mickey, Tonio, Marilyn, Barry’s side of the family Aunt Celeste, Aunt Jean, Margarita’s family and relatives from the Dominican Republic including Margarita and Tomas’ other granddaughters Raquel and Elisa, Franklin and Fiona and a few mental institution staff members are standing near and surrounding a stern looking Diane D looking down at her holding her shoulders as she is seated and leaned back in a chair right beside Margarita’s desk leaning her head back with her hands folded and her elbows over the chair arms ignoring everyone standing around her as she glares at a laptop screen that is sitting on a small table in front of her showing a diagram of the seating chart showing empty theater seats near the stage. “Are you okay Diane?” Aunt Celeste asks.
“Yeah are you alright Diane?” Aunt Jean asks. Diane D does not say a word. She does not look at anyone nor talk to anyone. She continues to lean back in the chair glaring at the laptop screen of the diagram showing the empty theater seats near the stage.
Raquel approaches Diane D and strokes Diane D’s hair. She then says to Diane D,
“Va a ser bien Diane, no se preocupe. Los asientos en la parte delantera van a ser vendidos. Créanme, lo hará.” She then gives Diane D a loving kiss on top of her head as Diane D ignores her.
Michael comes into the office as Alex and the rest of the staff members slowly and nervously walk into the office behind him. Michael heads towards Diane D and the rest of the crowd surrounding her.
Michael approaches Diane D. He looks down at her and says, “Diane? Alex and the rest of the staff members from the organization are here. They’re here to see you.”
Diane D rolls her eyes, but does not say a word. She continues to lean back in the chair ignoring everyone as she continues to glare at the laptop screen of the diagram showing the empty theater seats near the stage.
Alex and the rest of the staff members slowly head towards Diane D and the rest of 112
Alex and the rest of the staff members approach Diane D’s family and relatives as Diane D’s family and relatives turn and look at them. Alex and the rest of the staff members stand behind Diane D’s family and relatives fearing standing too close to Diane D. Alex and the rest of the staff members look from behind Diane D’s family and relatives at Diane D seeing her leaned back in the chair not talking to anyone. “Hi Diane,” Alex says as he and the rest of the staff members nervously look at Diane D.
“How do you feel? You feel okay? We came to visit you.” Diane D does not say a word.
She ignores Alex as she continues to sit there leaned back in the chair with a firm stare at the laptop screen.
“It’s nice to see you Diane,” Stephanie says. The staff members nervously stare at Diane D.
“Are you alright Diane?” Evette asks. “We just wanted to apologize to you for the way we were behaving when you were visiting the organization.”
“Yeah Diane,” Alex says. “We’re sorry about that.” Diane D still does not say a word.
She continues to ignore everyone as she continues to lean back in the chair glaring at the laptop screen. The staff members continue to stare at her.
“Diane please say something,” Michael says. “The staff members came all the way up here to see you. That should mean something.”
“That’s true Diane,” Fiona says. “Is there anything we can do for you? Just name it.
Is there anything we can do?”
“Yeah Diane,” Franklin says. “Is there something you need?” Diane D still does not say a word. She continues to ignore everyone as she leans back in the chair glaring at the laptop screen.
“Diane if you keep looking at the computer screen of those empty seats near the stage, it’s not going to make things better,” Aunt Jean says.
“That’s right Diane,” Uncle Willie says. “Will it help you to know that we all purchased tickets for those seats near the stage? Everyone in this room purchased tickets for all the seats near the stage.”
“Yeah,” everyone else says. Diane D still ignores everyone as she continues to lean back in the chair glaring at the laptop screen that’s showing the empty theater seats near the stage. Everyone sadly looks at her.
“Okay we’re gonna get ready to head back out Diane,” Alex says.
“Yeah we’re gonna leave now,” Stephanie says. “We want you to take care of yourself, okay?” Stephanie, Alex and the rest of the staff members continue to look at Diane D as she just sits there ignoring everyone.
Alex and the rest of the staff members turn away from Diane D. They turn to Michael as Alex says, “Michael? We’re gonna head back out now.”
“Okay Alex,” Michael says. “I’ll walk you out.”
“Okay.” Alex and the rest of the staff members look back at Diane D as Alex says,
“Bye Diane.” Diane D still does not utter a word. Michael, Alex and the rest of the staff members turn towards the door and head towards it.
Patrick, one of Margarita’s male relatives from the Dominican Republic turns to Michael and says, “Are you coming back Michael?”
Michael turns to him and says, “Yeah Patrick, I’ll be back. I just want to walk the staff members out real quick.”
“Okay.”
113
Michael turns back forward and continues to walk Alex and rest of the staff members towards the doorway.
Ten minutes later, Michael, Alex and rest of the staff members come out of the elevator and walk into the lobby of the mental institution. They slowly walk down the lobby as Michael turns to them and says, “So what do you think?” They all stop and face each other.
“Wow,” Alex says. “Diane seems real pissed off like she’s shutting everybody out. Is it because of us, or about people still not purchasing tickets for the front row seats near the stage?”
“All the above, including Grandma Margarita making her stay in that chair all day.”
“Wow,” Stephanie says. “I hope Miss Margarita really lets Diane get out of that chair soon to ease her mind, because I didn’t like the way Diane looked sitting like that ignoring everybody while she was looking at that computer screen. It scared me!”
“It scared me too!” Evette says. “I know we shouldn’t have treated Diane the way we did before when she had visit the organization, but I still feel very uncomfortable being around her. I still didn’t feel comfortable upstairs inside that room with her even though all her family and relatives were around! I’m sorry Michael, but I still can’t help the way I feel!”
“I understand Evette,” Michael says. “It’s okay. It’s just something that Diane is going to have to deal with for the rest of her life.” Everyone sadly looks at Michael.
Michael then says, “So where are you all off to now?”
“I guess we’ll head back down to White Plains,” Alex says.
“Head back down to White Plains? Okay.”
“When are you gonna stop by the organization and visit Michael?” Stephanie asks.
“I’ll stop by soon.”
“Okay. Well you take care Michael.”
“Likewise, you all do the same.”
“Okay Michael,” Alex says. Alex and the rest of the staff members turn back forward and continue to walk down the lobby as they turn their heads back one more time and sadly look back at Michael. They then turn their heads back forward and continue to walk down the lobby towards the exit doors.

Diane D Makes A Daring Attempt To Break Out Of Mental Institution!
A few days later, Diane D is sitting inside the office at the mental institution. She is sitting on a chair besides Margarita’s left side of the desk again looking down through some papers that are on her lap as Margarita sits at her desk signing paperwork.
Margarita then turns to Diane D and says, “Diane?” Diane D turns her head to Margarita and looks at Margarita as Margarita says to her, “Tan pronto como termine de esa asignación, tengo más asignaciones para usted.”
“Oh no, more assignments?” Diane D annoyingly says. “Am I ever gonna get a break from this chair Grandma? I haven’t gotten up all day! My legs have fallen asleep! I think I might need more physical therapy because of it! I want to get up and stretch my legs! I want to get some water, I’m thirsty!”
“Te dejaré descansar en cuanto acabes las otras dos asignaciones que tengo para ti, de acuerdo?! Ahora, cuanto antes termines la tarea que tienes en tus manos, puedes empezar con las siguientes dos asignaciones y luego tomar tu Descanso! Mientras tanto, voy a tener Mickey traer un aperitivo y un poco de agua!”
Diane D looks at Margarita. She then says, “Okay Grandma.” Diane D turns her head back forward and looks back down through the papers.
Suddenly Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey burst into the office with excitement as Barry holds an invoice paper. Margarita and Diane D look up at Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey as Nicolas shouts, “Hey Grandma, Diane, we got good news!”
“Good news?” Margarita says. “What good news Nicolas?”
“Well I know Diane is going to be happy about this!”
“I am?” Diane D asks.
“Yeah!”
“Okay. What am I going to be happy about?”
“The ticket sales Diane!” Barry excitingly shouts.
“The ticket sales?”
“That’s right Diane!” Michael shouts. “More tickets for the front row seats were sold!”
“More tickets for the front row seats were sold?!” Margarita asks.
“Yeah Grandma!” Mickey shouts.
“Wow that’s wonderful! How much tickets were sold?”
“Twelve seats in the ninth row were sold!”
“Twelve seats in the ninth row? That’s it?”
“And thirteen seats in the eighth row were sold,” Michael says.
“Thirteen seats in the eighth row? What about the other remaining empty seats?”
115
“I’m sorry Grandma,” Mickey says. “They still weren’t sold yet.”
“What!” Diane D shouts. “What do you mean they still weren’t sold yet?! I thought Uncle Willie said everyone who came inside this room a few days ago bought tickets for the front row seats!”
“They did Diane!” Nicolas shouts. “But that’s still not enough to fill up all the other remaining empty seats near the stage.”
“What! So you mean to tell me out of this whole thing, only twenty-five more seats were sold even though the ticket prices have dropped?!”
“We’re afraid so Diane.”
“That means people out there are still not purchasing tickets for all the other remaining empty seats near the stage, and y’all getting excited over just twenty-five more tickets being sold?!”
“We know Diane!” Barry shouts. “We thought maybe if we tell you about these recent ticket sales even though it’s only twenty-five more seats, it will finally make you happy and put a smile back on your face!”
“I’m not going to smile if a lot of seats near the stage will still be empty Dad! Why are people still not purchasing tickets for the other remaining empty seats near the stage?!”
Barry, Margarita, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey all look at each other. Barry then looks back at Diane D and says, “We don’t know Diane.”
“You still don’t know! That did it! That did it! Diane D angrily slams her paper assignments down on the floor and shouts, “I’m getting the hell out of here!” She stands up out of the chair and slightly limps as Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey quickly stand in front of her and block her!
“Sit down Diane!” Margarita shouts. “And just where do you think you’re going?!”
Diane D turns to Margarita and shouts, “I’m getting out of here Grandma! I’m going to go out to the streets to find out what’s going on! I want to find out why people are still not purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage!” Diane D turns to Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey and shouts, “Step aside please!”
Margarita quickly gets out of her seat and approaches Diane D and the men as Barry shouts, “Sit down Diane!”
“No Dad, that’s it, I’ve had it! I’ve had it with people filling up all the seats in the back of the theater but not filling up the seats near the stage! I want to be released from this mental institution!”
“What!” everyone else shouts.
“You want to be released from the mental institution?!” Barry shouts.
“Yes Dad!” Diane D shouts.
“Why?!”
“Because I need to go out to the streets and get some answers!”
“Get some answers?!”
“That’s right! Since you all don’t seem to have the answer to why people aren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage, I guess I’ll have to go out to the streets and get the answers myself!”
“Oh yeah?!” Margarita shouts. “And just how do you expect to do that Diane?!”
“By going up to people and asking them Grandma!”
“By going up to people?!”
“Yes!”
116
“You can’t just go up to people and ask them why they’re not purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage!”
“But I need to know!”
“It doesn’t matter! You still can’t just go up and approach people like that Diane!”
“That’s right Diane!” Michael shouts. “You can’t go out there and start bothering people!”
“Yes I can and I will!” Diane D shouts.
“No you’re not Diane!” Barry shouts. “You can’t go out there! You can’t be released from the mental institution!”
“Look Dad! I demand to be released from this mental institution and I demand to be released now!”
“No Diane! You’re not going anywhere out of here!”
“Watch me!” Diane D charges towards the office doorway, but Barry, Nicolas, Michael, Mickey and Margarita quickly grab her and wrap their arms tightly around her torso trying to stop her!
“Oh no!” Nicolas shouts. “Here we go again!” Diane D becomes out of control as she tries to break loose from her family!
“You’re not going anywhere Diane!” Margarita shouts. “Sit back down!” Diane D
goes mad and berserk desperately trying to break loose from her family and charge for the office doorway as her family hold tightly onto her torso!
“Oh my God!” Mickey shouts. “What have we done?!”
“Diane calma!” Margarita shouts. “Diane te dije que parar?!” Diane D ignores Margarita as she inches her way towards the office doorway! Margarita turns to Mickey and shouts, “Mickey, cierre la puerta!” Mickey lets go of Diane D as he turns and rushes to the door! He quickly closes the door then turns and rushes back to Diane D! He grabs and holds Diane D by the torso again as she continues to inch her way towards the door huffing and puffing with fists balled, looking towards the door! “Diane, detener ahora!”
Margarita shouts. Diane D’s family continue to hold tightly on to her torso desperately trying to stop her from inching her way to the door! Suddenly, Diane D spreads her legs apart! She gets superhuman strength and slightly drags her family towards the office door causing their feet to practically slide on the floor!
“Oh no!” Barry shouts. “She’s dragging us again! Lift her off her feet guys!” Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey been down, grab Diane D’s legs and feet and lift her body right up off the floor putting her body face down in a horizontal position as Margarita lets go of Diane D! Diane D is still trying to break loose from her family as her family struggles to hold her!
“Oh no!” Margarita shouts. “That’s it! That is it! I have had it!” Margarita quickly turns and rushes back to her desk!
Margarita approaches her desk! She reaches underneath her desk and grabs a 4-feet wooden paddle from underneath there! She bends back up then rushes from her desk with the paddle!
Margarita rushes back towards Diane D with the paddle!
Barry looks at Margarita and shouts “What are you planning to do with that paddle Mom?!” as he struggles to hold Diane D!
“What do you think?!” Margarita shouts. “I’m going to whack her with it!”
“What!” Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey shout.
Margarita approaches Diane D with the paddle! She raises the paddle high in the air 117
and is about to strike Diane D right on the behind with it, but Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey shout, “Grandma no!” and try to stop her! Margarita swings the paddle right at their hands, but they quickly move their hands out of the way causing Margarita to miss! Margarita raises the paddle high in the air again! She then whams the paddle down and whacks Diane D right on the behind with it!
“Aaaaahh!” Diane D screams as she falls out of Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey’s arms and drops chest down to the floor! She lays chest down on the floor as she holds her behind in pain!
Margarita then shouts to Diane D, “Quieres probarme chica?!” as she raises the paddle high in the air again and is about to whack Diane D on the behind again, but Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey shout, “Grandma no!” and try to stop her again!
Margarita quickly turns towards them and swings the paddle like a baseball bat right at their hands again, but they quickly move their hands out of the way causing Margarita to miss again! Diane D slowly gets up off the floor! Then she quickly makes a dash for the door, but Margarita quickly turns back towards Diane D, runs after Diane D and shouts, “Oh no, no lo haces!” as she swings the paddle like a baseball bat and whacks Diane D right on the behind again throwing Diane D’s body forwards!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body is thrown forward then lands chest down on the floor near the door! She holds her behind in pain again!
Margarita rushes to Diane D and shouts to her, “Quieres más chica?! Quieres más?!”
She raises the paddle high in the air again, but Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey shout,
“Grandma no!” and rush towards Margarita to stop her, but Margarita turns towards them and swings the paddle right at them again shouting, “Stay back!” as they quickly back away from her causing her to miss! Margarita turns back to Diane D and shouts down to her, “No irás a ningún lado! Me oyes?!” as she raises the paddle high in the air again and whacks Diane D hard on the behind again!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body jerks from the blow! She holds her behind in pain again!
Margarita points her finger down at Diane D and shouts to her, “Usted no va a ningún lugar fuera de esta institución mental! Me oyes?!” as she raises the paddle high in the air again and whacks Diane D right on the behind again!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body jerks from the blow again!
Margarita raises the paddle high in the air again and shouts, “Usted no va a ningún lugar ahí fuera!” and whacks Diane D right on the behind again!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body jerks from the blow again!
Margarita points her finger down at Diane D again and shouts, “No va a aproximarse o molestar a la gente ahí fuera! Entiende usted que?!” as she raises the paddle high in the air again and whacks Diane D right on the behind again!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body jerks from the blow again!
Margarita points her finger towards Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey and shouts to down Diane D, “Y no te nunca arrastrar a tu familia! Me oyes?!” as she raises the paddle high in the air again and whacks Diane D right on the behind again!
“Aaah!” Diane D screams as her body jerks from the blow again!
Margarita raises the paddle high in the air again and shouts to Diane D, “No arrastre a tu familia otra vez, entiendes?!!” then whacks Diane D right on the behind three times!
“Ah!” Diane D moans as her body jerks from the blow again! Barry, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey are shocked and horrified as they stand aside helplessly watching an angry 118
Downstairs in the hallway of the mental institution, Tomas, Mary, Tonio and Marilyn are at the counter of the mental institution pharmacist. They sadly stand there as Tomas says to a white male pharmacist, “I need to pick up my granddaughter’s prescription first.”
“You mean Diane D, right?” the pharmacist asks.
“Yes, her. After her prescription, then I need to pick up the rest of our prescription.”
“No problem. And how are you all doing today?”
“Still traumatized as you can see.”
“Wow I understand. I’m sorry you’re all going through this.”
“Thanks.” Tomas waits patiently at the counter as the pharmacist looks at the computer screen. Suddenly Tomas’ cell phone rings. He takes the phone out of his pocket and looks at it. He then speaks into the phone and says, “Sí, Nicolas. .... ¡Qué! ...
¡No! Estamos en camino!” Tomas quickly puts away his phone.
“Que paso papa?” Mary asks.
Tomas turns to Mary and shouts, “Es Diane! She just went off again!”
“What!” Mary, Tonio and Marilyn shout.
“Si! Y tu mamá está nalgadas ella!”
“What!” Tonio shouts. “Mom es nalgadas ella?!”
“Si, con la paleta!”
“Con la paleta?!” Marilyn shouts. “Oh no!”
“Vamos a subir!” Tomas, Mary, Tonio and Marilyn turn and rush away as the hospital security and some hospital staff members turn and rush off after them!
A couple of minutes later, Tomas, Mary, Tonio and Marilyn rush down the upstairs hallway towards the office as the hospital security and the hospital staff members rush down the hallway after them!
Inside the office, Diane D is on the sofa laying her head on Barry’s chest as he, Nicolas, Michael and Mickey sit and surround her wrapping their arms around her hugging and holding her as they sadly try to comfort her from Margarita’s flogging. Her face is red with anger with her long black hair and bangs covering her eyes and face.
The office door bursts open! Tomas, Mary, Tonio and Marilyn rush inside the office as the hospital security and the hospital staff members rush inside the office after them.
Tomas, Mary, Tonio, Marilyn, the hospital security and the hospital staff members rush to Diane D! “Diane!” Mary shouts.
“Are you alright?!” Tomas shouts. Tomas, Mary, Tonio and Marilyn bend down to Diane D and grab her, but her body suddenly jerks as they try to hold her. The hospital security and the hospital staff members worriedly look on.
Around an hour later, a white male police officer, a Hispanic male security guard, a white female officer and a black male security guard are outside the mental institution 119
in the middle of talking about the Diane D incident as the Hispanic male security guard, the white female officer and the black male security guard shout, “What!”
“Miss Margarita whacked Diane D several times?!” the female officer shouts.
“Yes!” the police officer shouts, “she flogged Diane D!”
“Oh no!”
“Diane D’s father, husband and brothers tried to stop Miss Margarita from flogging Diane D, but Miss Margarita wouldn’t let them stop her because she would swing the paddle at them!”
“Oh no!”
“So Diane D’s father, husband and brothers had no choice but to stand there and watch Diane D get whack by Miss Margarita!”
“Oh no!”
“Wow!” the Hispanic male security officer shouts. “You know I don’t get it! The only reason this whole thing happened in the first place, is because Diane D’s father, husband and brothers came in the office to tell her and her grandma, that twenty-five more tickets for the front row seats were sold and she got mad because it wasn’t enough tickets?”
“That’s right!” the police officer says. “Her father, husband and brothers had good intentions! They wanted to tell her about the recent ticket sales because they thought it would finally make her happy, being that she’s been upset and depressed about the empty front row seats all month, but instead of her being happy and appreciated, she threw a fit when she realized it wasn’t enough tickets that some seats near the stage will still be empty, then wanted to know why people are still not purchasing tickets for the other remaining empty seats near the stage!”
“But doesn’t she already have the answer to that question? All she has to do is look in the mirror! The answer to that question is right in her face because of what she did last year, why do she think she’s locked up here in the first place?! Plus with her trying to escape out of here right in front of her family to approach people on the street, she just proved right there that she’s not stable, then got the nerve to wonder why no one is purchasing tickets for seats near the stage! No one wants to be near her!”
“Didn’t Diane D’s family tell her SHE’S the reason people aren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage?” the black male security guard asks.
“No they didn’t tell her yet,” the police officer says.
“They didn’t?”
“No.”
“How come?”
“They claim they didn’t want her feelings to be hurt.”
“They didn’t want her feelings to be hurt?”
“No.”
“I understand they don’t want her feelings to be hurt, but maybe if they had just told her anyway, she probably wouldn’t have tried to break out of here to find out the answer on her own and all this wouldn’t have happened.”
“Yeah that’s true.”
“What is Diane D doing now?” the female officer asks.
“Her family have her on the couch because she’s in pain from the flogging.”
“She’s in pain?”
“Yeah. Now because of Diane D going off and getting out of control, her family feels 120
they might have no choice but to either cancel the whole entire fundraising concert or just have Diane D banned from performing in it.”
“What!” everyone else shouts.
“They might cancel the concert or have Diane D banned from performing in it?!” the black male security guard shouts.
“I think it’s a possibility,” the police officer says.
“Oh no!” everyone else says.
“We can’t let her family cancel the fundraising concert!” the black male security guard shouts. “Those victims’ family could use the money! Why can’t Diane D’s family just ban HER from performing in it?! I’m sure all those empty seats near the stage will definitely fill up if she’s banned from performing! As a matter of fact, I’ll even try to purchase tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage myself if Diane D is banned from performing!”
“You will?” the police officer asks.
“Yeah if Diane D is gonna be banned from it!”
“Her family MIGHT ban her from performing, there’s no guarantee yet!”
“If her family don’t ban her from performing, I might still purchase a ticket,” the female security officer says.
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah, but before I do that, I want Diane D’s family to sign an agreement saying that the audience members will be safe and protected from Diane D or her other personality’s wrath, just in case she goes berserk again or just in case her other personality DO come out to the surface! I want her family to say that they will put a thick window glass on stage that will separate Diane D from the audience!”
“Put a thick window glass on stage?” the black male security guard says. “Hellooo, do you know how powerful Diane D’s other personality is?! Her other personality killed six people last year which includes five authority figures and a priest! Even though those authority figures had guns and shotguns on them, it still didn’t save them! Diane D’s other personality even managed to injure many other authority figures and security guards, but yet she never once got injured by any of them at all! The only injuries she received on her body were self-inflicted by her OTHER personality breaking loose from those chains, then was letting her body be whipped hard by those long broken pieces of chains! If her other personality can lift up that heavy ass psychiatrist couch, use it as a weapon and throw it across the room at around fifty or sixty miles an hour and take down five authority figures who had guns and shotguns, take down a priest and seriously injure many more authority figures who are STILL in the hospital, then her other personality can lift up another heavy object and throw it right through that thick window glass on the stage breaking it, then probably kill or injure people in the audience with it!”
“Wow! Well hopefully there won’t be any heavy objects on the stage.”
“Hopefully?!” the Hispanic male security guard shouts. “It’s not worth it, even if you do have her family sign an agreement! Don’t go to that fundraising concert if Diane D’s gonna perform in it, don’t go! The only way you should go to that concert, is if Diane D is not in the show or if you can get a seat in the back!”
“But all the seats in the back are sold out!”
“See what I mean?! Nobody wants to be close to Diane D! If the Diaz-Davidson Organization drops Diane D from the show, watch their tickets sales for the front row 121
seats climb, then all the seats for the front rows will be sold out!” They all sadly look at each other.

The Public Reads About Diane D’s Daring Escape Attempt!
The following day, a woman is inside an office cafeteria reading an article on social media with a headline that reads: DIANE D’S ATTEMPT TO BREAK OUT OF MENTAL
INSTITUTION IS FOILED BY HER FAMILY!: “What!” the woman shouts. She turns to her fellow co-workers and shouts, “Hey look! This article says that Diane D had tried to escape out of the Mental Institution yesterday!”
“What!” the other employees shout as they look at the article.
“Diane D tried to escape out of the Mental Institution?!” another woman shouts.
“That’s what it says right here!” the first woman shouts. “It says that she had demanded to be released from the mental institution just so she can go out to the streets to find out why no one is purchasing tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage!”
“What!” the other employees shout.
“Diane D demanded to be release from the mental institution so she can go out to the streets to find out why no one is purchasing tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage?!” one of the men shouts.
“That’s what this article says!” the first woman shouts. “It says that Diane D’s family told her that she’s not going anywhere, then the next thing she did was try to break out of the mental institution right in front of them!”
“What!” the other employees shout.
“She tried to break out of the mental institution in front of her family?!” a second man shouts.
“That’s what this article says!” the first woman shouts. “It says that first Diane D
tried to break out of her grandma’s office inside the mental institution, then was gonna attempt to break out of the entire mental facility altogether, so her family had to grab her to stop her!”
“Oh no!” the other employees shout.
“You mean they had to hold her back?!” the second man shouts.
“Yeah!” the first woman shouts. “It says that Diane D became so out-of-control trying to break away from her family!”
“She became out-of-control again?!”
“That’s what is says! She was so desperate to break out of the mental institution that she started dragging her family right towards her grandma’s office door when they were trying to hold her back!”
“She started dragging her family again?!” the first man shouts. “You mean to tell me she’s that desperate to get those front row seats filled up that she’s gonna attempt to break out of the mental institution right in front of her own family so she can go out to the streets to find out why no one is purchasing tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage?!”
“That’s what it says! That’s when Miss Margarita took a paddle that was beneath her desk and whacked Diane D right on the behind with it!”
123
“What!” the other employees shout.
“Miss Margarita whacked Diane D with a paddle that was beneath her desk?!” the second woman shouts.
“Yeah!” the first woman shouts, “because Diane D was too out-of-control trying to break away from them!”
“My God! What was Miss Margarita doing with a paddle beneath her desk?!”
“No one knows.”
“Well did the whacking stop Diane D from trying to escape?!”
“Not at first. The first whacking Miss Margarita gave Diane D made Diane D fall out of her family’s arms and fall to the floor, but it didn’t seem to stop her because when she halfway got up off the floor, she tried to make a quick dash for the door!”
“What!” the other employees shout.
“Diane D tried to make a dash for the door?!” the second man shouts.
“Yeah!” the first woman shouts, “she still tried to escape!”
“My God! Maybe she was trying to get away from Miss Margarita whacking her!”
“Could be because it says after Diane D fell on the floor again, Miss Margarita whacked her real hard again with that paddle!”
“What!” the first man shouts. “Miss Margarita whacked Diane D again?!”
“Yeah, according to this article! After that, Miss Margarita kept whacking Diane D
while Diane D was lying helpless on the floor!”
“She was laying on the floor while Miss Margarita kept whacking her?!”
“Yeah!”
“Wow!” They all continue to look at the article.
Later on, a black family is inside their dining room area throwing a small dinner party. One of the men around his mid-40’s is sitting at the end of a table reading an article on social media with a headline that reads: DIANE D MAKES A DESPERATE
AND DARING ATTEMPT TO BREAK OUT OF MENTAL INSTITUTION THEN GETS
FLOGGED BY HER GRANDMA MARGARITA!: “My God!” the man shouts.
His family looks at him as his wife who’s also around her mid-40’s says, “My God?
My God what? What are you reading?”
“This article says that Diane D’s grandma Miss Margarita caned her and whacked her when she tried to escape out of the mental institution yesterday!”
“What!” the rest of the family shout.
“Diane D tried to escape out of the Mental Institution?!” the wife shouts.
“Yeah!” the first man shouts.
“Oh my God!” an older woman shouts. “Why did she try to escape?!”
“Because when her father, husband and brothers came into her grandma’s office inside the mental institution to tell her twenty-five more tickets for the front row seats for their upcoming concert were sold, she realized that still wasn’t enough tickets and some seats near the stage will still be empty, so she threw a fit!”
“She threw a fit?!” the man’s brother shouts.
“Yeah! She told her family that she wanted to be released from the mental institution!”
“What!” everyone else shouts.
“Diane D told her family she wanted to be released from the mental institution?!”
124
“Yeah!” the first man shouts, “that’s what this article says!”
“Why did she want to be released from the mental institution?!”
“So she can go out to the streets to find out why people are still not purchasing tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage!”
“What!” everyone else shouts.
“So she can go out to the streets to find out why people are still not purchasing tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage?!” the wife shouts. “That’s the only reason she tried to escape?!”
“Yep that’s the only reason!” the first man shouts. “Her family told her she’s not going anywhere, then she tells them that she demands to be released from the mental institution!”
“What!” everyone else shouts.
“She demands to be released from the mental institution?!” the older woman shouts.
“Diane D told her family that?!”
“Yeah!” the first man shouts. “When her family told her that she’s not going anywhere, that’s when she tried to break out the mental institution!”
“That’s when she tried to break out?! Oh no!”
“It says her family had to hold her back from trying to escape, then she became out-of-control trying to break away from them!”
“She became out-of-control again?”
“Yeah! That’s when her grandma Miss Margarita got a paddle that was beneath her desk and whacked her right on the behind with it!”
“What! Miss Margarita whacked Diane D with a paddle?!”
“Yeah!”
“My God! Where did Miss Margarita get a paddle from?”
“It says from underneath her desk.”
“From underneath her desk?! What was she doing with a paddle beneath her desk?”
“Good question! I guess she needed it there to keep Diane D in check because this article says that Miss Margarita makes Diane D sit beside her desk all day!”
“She does?! How come?”
“I guess to keep an eye on her.”
“But doesn’t Diane D already know why people aren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage?” an older man asks.
“I guess not, or else she wouldn’t have tried to break out of the mental institution to go out to the streets to find out in the first place!”
“But how was she going to find out the answer to why people aren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage by breaking out of the mental institution?”
“By approaching people on the streets and asking them!”
“By approaching people on the streets and asking them? She really think she’s going to get the answer that way?”
“I guess so!”
“But what if the people on the street told her ‘no, they didn’t purchase tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage and weren’t going to’?!” the man’s brother shouts.
“I would hate to find out what her reaction would be towards them!”
“I would hate to find out too! But being that Diane D became so out-of-control when she tried to escape out of the mental institution, it’s a possibly that her family might ban 125
her from performing in the fundraising concert!”
“What!” the wife shouts. “Her family might ban her from performing?”
“It’s a possibility.”
“But is Diane D still able to perform after the whacking her grandma gave her?” the man’s brother asks. “I mean is she even able to stand, walk or dance after the whacking her grandma gave her?”
“I think so.”
“But when Diane D’s family had plan to ban her from performing at a concert years ago when they learned that she beat up the little boy Marcus, she went out-of-control then too and attempted to go after that kid!”
“I know! Knowing of Diane D’s out-of-control behavior and knowing of her other personality’s wrath, I fear she might just succeed in bursting and escaping out of the mental institution if she tries again!”
“I doubt Diane D is going to try to escape the mental institution again, because if she does, she’s gonna have to deal with her grandmother’s wrath again!”
“Yeah that’s true,” the wife says. “I feel sorry for what her family has to go through with her. I feel for them having to deal with someone like her.”
“I feel for them too,” the first man says, “that’s why I think we should purchase tickets for some of those remaining empty seats near the stage.”
“What? You think we should purchase tickets for those remaining empty seats near the stage?”
“Yeah, for Diane D’s family’s sake, after all, they are trying to help raise money for the victims of Diane D’s other personality and their families.”
“Yeah that’s true. But before we even purchase any tickets, I want a signed agreement from the Diaz-Davidson Organization to assure that the audience members sitting near the stage will be safe from Diane D’s out-of-control behavior and her other personality’s wrath just in case either of her personalities get out-of-control!”
“That’s true!” the man’s brother shouts. “I’ll probably purchase tickets for the remaining empty seats near the stage too only if Miss Margarita is in the front row seats.
I think she should sit right there in the front too.”
“Oh yeah?” the first man asks. “How come?”
“So she can protect us and the rest of the audience members from her dangerous granddaughter, that’s how come! I think Miss Margarita is the only one who can handle Diane D or Diane D’s other personality!”
“Oh yeah? Well if Miss Margarita is the only one who can handle Diane D or Diane D’s other personality, then why wasn’t she able to protect all those authority figures from Diane D or Diane D’s other personality inside that hypnosis room last year?!”
“I know, that’s true! Even though she wasn’t able to protect all those authority figures from Diane D or Diane D’s other personality inside that hypnosis room, I still consider her and Diane D’s other family members heroes for foiling Diane D’s escape from the mental institution! Think about it, if Diane D had succeeded in escaping out of the mental institution, Lord knows what might have happened to people out there on the street if they had encountered her or her other personality that day!”
“Yeah that’s true,” the first man says. “Thank God her family foiled her escape.”
“I agree.” The family continues to look at the article.
126
Margarita is inside her office at the mental institution. She is speaking on the phone as she says, “Yes Doctor Schultz, I want to set up another anger management assignment for Diane! She got out-of-control again yesterday and attempted to escape right out of the mental institution!”
“Yes I heard about it!” Dr. Schultz, a male white doctor around his early sixties says.
“Did she really try to escape from the mental institution to go out into the streets?”
“Yes she did! That’s why I want her to have another anger management assignment after that attempted escape stunt she pulled yesterday because she cannot control her anger!”
“I’m sorry that Diane went off like that! I heard that you took a paddle and whacked her when she tried to escape! I heard that she was helpless on the floor while you were whacking her! Did you really whack Diane with a paddle Miss Margarita?”
“Of course I did! I certainly didn’t whack her for nothing!”
“I’m sure you didn’t Miss Margarita. I’m sorry that it had to come down to that.”
“Yeah I’m sorry that it had to come down to that too Dr. Schultz.”
“I understand Miss Margarita. Okay, when do you want to have Diane Come in?”
“How about Wednesday afternoon.”
“Wednesday afternoon is fine. I’ll have her anger assignment ready.”
“Thank you Dr. Schultz. We’ll see you Wednesday.”
“Okay, see you then. Bye.”
A few days later, the same black family the first man and his wife are in their kitchen sitting at the table eating breakfast. The wife pours some cereal in a bowl as the man reads an article on social media with a headline that reads: DIANE D APOLOGIZES
TO HER GRANDMA, FATHER, HUSBAND AND BROTHERS FOR HER
OUT-OF-CONTROL BEHAVIOR AND FOR HER ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE THE MENTAL
INSTITUTION!: “Wow!” the man shouts.
His wife looks at him and says, “Wow? What happened?”
“This article says that Diane D apologized to her family for her out-of-control behavior!”
“What! Diane D apologized to her family?!”
“Yeah! She apologized to her dad, her husband and her brothers for losing it and getting out-of-control when they showed her that only twenty-five more tickets for the front row seats were sold and she apologized to her grandma and the rest of their family for trying to escape giving them all a hard time!”
“What! You mean to tell me that Diane D came to her senses and is admitting to what she did?! She’s admitting to her family that she was wrong for having an out-of-control behavior?”
“It sounds that way.” The man continues to look at the article.
A couple days later, the same man and his wife are in their kitchen again sitting at the table eating breakfast. The wife pours some coffee in a mug as the man reads an article on social media with a headline that reads: DIANE D’S FAMILY DECIDED TO
COME CLEAN AND TELL HER THE TRUTH ABOUT WHY PEOPLE WEREN’T
PURCHASING TICKETS FOR THE SEATS NEAR THE STAGE!: “What!” the man 127
His wife looks at him and says, “Oh no what? What happened?”
“This article says that Diane D’s family decided to tell her the truth about why people weren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage!”
“What! Her family told her the truth about why people weren’t purchasing tickets for the seats near the stage?”
“Yeah!”
“Oh my God, did they tell her that SHE’S the reason why the seats near the stage weren’t being sold?”
“Yep, they told her that!”
“Oh really?! My God, how did she feel when she heard that?”
“She felt hurt by it because she claims it’s like people are still avoiding her like the plague when she claims she’s not out to get anybody!”
“She’s not out to get anybody? That’s what she said?”
“Yeah! She said she’s not even thinking about going after people attacking them, she just wants to perform, plus she claims she still doesn’t remember what happened when those authority figures got killed!”
“She still don’t remember killing them?!”
“No she still doesn’t remember it!”
“So being that she doesn’t remember killing them, she never admitted to killing them and never once apologized for it, did she?”
“Well she claims she’s sorry for what happened to them.”
“She’s sorry for what happened to them?”
“Yeah, and says she’s sorry IF she killed them.”
“What! She’s sorry IF she killed them?! That’s what she said?!”
“That’s what this article says.”
“But she DID kill those authority figures, her family was right there in the room when it happened! They witnessed the whole entire thing which caused them to be traumatized to this day! They’re still traumatized by it!”
“They are! Her family already told her that she killed all those authority figures and she still doesn’t believe she killed anybody!”
“Does she think her family would lie to her and tell her that she killed somebody if she didn’t?!”
“It’s not that she thinks her family would lie about it, it’s just that she claims she’s not a killer and would never ever go around killing people whether they’re authority figures or not!”
“Okay. She might not remember killing those authority figures, but she do remember trying to escape out of the mental institution, does she?”
“Well since she apologized to her family for trying to escape, I guess she does remember that part.”
“But doesn’t remember the part of killing all those authority figures.”
“No, she still doesn’t believe she killed anybody.”
“Wow, that is so sad. Well I’m glad she’s admitting to this wrongdoing of trying to escape out the mental institution and apologized to her family for it, but I hope she’s not apologizing to her family just so they won’t ban her from performing in the show. I hope she’s not sucking up to her family just so they can keep her in the show. I hope she was sincere when she apologized to them.”
128
“I think she was.” The man continues to look at the article.
The following week, the same man and his wife are in their kitchen sitting at the table eating dinner. The wife pours some tea in a coffee mug as the man reads another article on social media with a headline that reads: DIANE D’S FAMILY SIGNS
AGREEMENT!: “What!” the man shouts. “Get out of here!”
His wife looks at him and says, “What’s going on?”
“This article says that Diane D’s family signed an agreement assuring that Diane D
won’t give any problems while she’s performing on stage!”
“What! The Diaz-Davidson Organization signed an agreement assuring that Diane D
won’t give any problems while she’s up on stage?!”
“That’s what it says. And guess what? They even had Diane D herself sign the agreement too!”
“What! Diane D signed the agreement too?”
“Yeah!”
“Oh my God! Did her family make her do that?”
“No! She volunteered!”
“She volunteered?!”
“That’s what it says! It says that Diane D was willing to sign the agreements, as long as it helps get all the front row seats filled up!”
“As long as it helps get the front row seats filled up?! Seriously?! That’s all she cared about was getting those front row seats filled?!”
“It seems that way.”
“Damn, I should have known it was a catch when she volunteered to sign any agreement! She really wants those front rows seats filled up bad, doesn’t she?”
“Well it looks like her wish just might come true! Plus she still feels bad knowing that SHE’S the reason why people weren’t purchasing tickets for the front row seats that she wants to personally apologize to the victims and their families.”
“What! She wants to personally apologize to the victims and their families?! You’re kidding! Diane D wants to personally apologize to the victims and their family members?!”
“That’s what this article says!”
“Oh my goodness! So she’s admitting that she killed all those authority figures?!”
“No, how can she admit to killing them if she doesn’t remember doing it?! She wants to apologize to them IF she killed them!”
“IF she killed them?! She’s still saying the word ‘IF’?!”
“Yeah she’s still saying that word.”
“Oh. Okay. So if she wants to personally apologize to the victims and their family members, when and where is she planning to do that, at the fundraising concert?”
“I don’t think so. I think maybe at the Mental Institution or at a hotel where she would be let out on house arrest again.”
“She might be let out on house arrest again?!”
“I think to make that apologetic speech.”
“Oh boy! So if Diane D performs at the fundraising concert, who’s going to perform on stage with her?”
“I think her original crew, the Dianettes.”
129
“The Dianettes?! Oh no, the Dianettes are going to perform on stage with Diane D
again?!”
“Yeah, they always perform on stage with her, don’t they?”
“Yeah, but I thought that maybe they would be afraid to perform with Diane D again after what she did last year! Aren’t they afraid to even be near her?!”
“I don’t know how the Dianettes feel about being near Diane D or performing on stage with her again. All I know, is that they’re supposed to perform with her at the fundraising concert.”
“But aren’t there six of them?”
“Six Dianettes? There has always been six Dianettes performing on stage with Diane D. There has been six Dianettes performing on stage with Diane D since forever.
Why?”
“Because she killed six people last year, and now she’s gonna have six Dianettes performing on stage with her!”
“And, so what? What does six Dianettes performing on stage with her have to do with her killing six people?”
“Because if she can kill six people inside that hypnosis room, then she can kill six people who are on stage with her!”
“Oh. So are the Dianettes supposed to change the amount of their members from six to another number because Diane D killed six people?”
“Yeah I think so!”
“So what number do you think the Dianettes should change the amount of their members to, from six to what?”
“From six to five, then from five to four, then from four to three, then from three to two, then from two to one, then from one to zero until the Dianettes are all gone and there aren’t any more members! I think each member of the Dianettes should drop out of that group one by one!”
“You do?! Why?! Don’t you like the Dianettes?! I thought you liked the Dianettes! I thought you loved their performance, their dance moves and everything!”
“I do like the Dianettes! As a matter of fact, I love the Dianettes, I always have, it’s their leader I’m worried about!”
“Their leader?”
“Yes! It’s their safety from their leader I’m concerned with! I think they should drop out from being members of that group while they’re still alive and have the chance to escape from their leader!”
“Escape from their leader? Oh come on now, have you ever heard of Diane D
harming any of the Dianettes or any of her family members?”
“No, but I hear she does tell the Dianettes what to eat, what not to eat and not to drink any hard liquor! I hear she forbids any of them to wear any make-up at all! If she finds out that any of the Dianettes are eating anything that’s not good for their health or finds out that any of them are drinking hard liquor or wearing any make-up, she’ll throw a huge fit and they wind up being afraid of her fit, then wind up either running from her OR caving in to her health food, no hard liquor and no make-up demands!
That’s why when any of them eat junk food, drink hard liquor or wear any make-up, they will have to sneak and do it behind Diane D’s back when she’s not around so she won’t get into a fit of rage! They don’t want to deal with that!”
“I know, I don’t blame them! Remember, two members of the Dianettes ARE Diane 130
“I know, Nancy and Charlotte, the ones who had an encounter with her other personality inside their family’s home!”
“Only one of them had an encounter with Diane D’s other personality inside their family’s home, it was Nancy. The other cousin Charlotte only heard the conversation between Nancy and Diane’s other personality from inside one of the bedrooms.”
“It’s the same thing as far as I’m concerned! She heard the other personality talking!
That’s encounter enough for me!”
“That’s encounter enough for me too.”
“I swear those Dianettes need to escape from Diane D fast! They shouldn’t perform on stage with her for their safety!”
“But the Dianettes want to perform at the fundraising concert because they want to help raise money for the victims too! They know what Diane D did last year.”
“That’s exactly why they need to escape from her, because what she did last year!
They need to escape from her wrath!”
“I know, but they figure the least they can do is perform and be there for the victims and their family.”
“Well that’s nice of them to want to support the victims. I just hope they be safe up there on that stage with Diane D.”
“Don’t worry, they will.” The husband and wife continue to look at the article as the wife drinks some tea.
That same day, Barry, Aunt Celeste and Michael are at the mental institution office.
They are getting old family photos together trying to create a family tree. Four mental institution staff members, two men and two women, enter the office. They approach Barry and Aunt Celeste as one of the staff members, a Hispanic woman says, “Hi Mr.
Barry, Miss Celeste.”
“Hi,” Barry says.
“Do you need help with anything?”
“No, not at the moment.”
“Okay.”
“So what’s going on here?” the Hispanic male staff member asks.
“Well Diane just finished her anger assignment and stepped off to take a break,”
Aunt Celeste says. “When she comes back, Dr. Schultz wants her to make a family tree, so we’re getting lots of old photos together to help her out.”
“What?” the black female staff member says. “You all setting up a family tree for Diane D?”
“Yes.”
“Wow that’s wonderful! How’s it coming along?”
“Well we just started getting it prepared featuring all four of Diane’s grandparents as youngsters,” Michael says.
“What? You have all four of Diane D’s grandparents as youngsters?”
“Yeah.”
The hospital staff members look at the photos. “Wow,” the black female staff member says. “Is that Miss Margarita?”
“Yeah.”
131
“Yeah.”
“Wow she was cute as a little girl!”
“She was!” the Hispanic female says. “And that’s Diane D’s other Grandma Gracy as a little girl, right?”
“Yeah,” Michael says.
“Wow, she was cute too! I like these old photos of Diane D’s grandmothers as youngsters!”
“Yeah I like them too,” the white male staff member says. “I even like the photo of Diane D as youngster besides them,” the white male staff member says as he points to one of the photos, “but where are the photos of Diane D’s grandfathers? Where is Tomas’ photo as a youngster? How come his photo is not there?”
“Yeah,” the Hispanic male staff member says, “how come Diane D’s photo is there instead of Tomas’ photo?”
“That’s because that IS Tomas in the photo,” Michael says.
“What!” the staff members shout. “Tomas?! It is?!”
“Yeah that’s not Diane in the photo.”
“It’s not?”
“No.”
“What!” The staff members look at the photo again and see Tomas as a preteen in a mountainous area looking at the moon and night sky.
“I thought that was Diane D in the photo!” the Hispanic male staff member shouts.
“So did I!” the Hispanic female staff member shouts.
“Me too!” the black female staff member shouts. “Are you sure that this is Tomas in the photo and not Diane D?”
“Yes that’s Tomas in the photo,” Barry says.
“What!” The staff members look at the photo again.
“Wow Tomas looks just like Diane D as a youngster!” the Hispanic male staff member says.
“He sure does!” the Hispanic female staff member says. “He has the same expression as Diane D and everything!”
“He does!” the white male staff member says. “It seems like we’re actually looking at Diane D in this photo!”
“It sure does.”
“Well Diane does favor her grandfather Tomas a lot,” Barry says.
“She sure do!”
“Here are other photos of Tomas to prove it’s not Diane.” Barry shows the staff members more old photos of Tomas as a little boy with his brothers in a mountainous area laughing with each other with the moon and night sky in the background and other old photos of a shirtless Tomas and bikini wearing Margarita together as teenagers at the beach when they first started dating.
“Wow what a lovely couple they are,” the black female staff member says as she and the rest of the staff members continue to look at the old photos of Tomas and Margarita.
She then looks at the table and says, “Where’s the photo of Diane D’s other grandfather?”
“My dad?” Barry says.
“Yeah. Where is his photo as a youngster?”
132
“His photo is right here,” Barry says as he shows the staff members a photo of his father Mike as a youngster. The staff members look at the photo. They see Grandpa Mike as a preteen.
“Wow, now that looks like Dana in the photo!” the black female staff member shouts.
“It sure does!” the Hispanic male staff member shouts. The staff members look at the photo again. The Hispanic male staff member looks at Barry and asks, “Are you sure that’s not Dana in the photo?”
“No it’s not Dana in the photo,” Barry says. “That’s my dad.”
The staff members look at the photo again. “Wow,” the Hispanic male says. “He sure looks like Dana as a youngster!”
“He sure does!” the Hispanic female staff member says.
“Well Dana does favor my dad a lot,” Barry says.
“Wow, Diane D favors her grandfather Tomas while Dana favors their grandfather Mike which means Diane D and Dana both favor their grandfathers!”
“I know,” the Hispanic male says. “That is something!” The staff members continue to look at the photos.
