At fifteen past eight, Grant spotted Richard Bradbury exiting the hotel. He shook JJ to wake him. “Hey, wake up. It’s him. We got to go.” He watched as Richard got in his Cadillac and then followed him out onto the street. They drove down Main Street, with Grant maintaining a healthy following distance. He didn’t want to be discovered a second time. The Cadillac pulled into the parking lot of a coffee shop, and Grant parked at the movie theater across the street.
