Drawings
In 2009 I got a set of Prismacolor pencils. After researching from books and other resources, I started to practice with this new material. Using these color pencils to draw realistic style artworks is a very meticulous labour process. When painting on layers in a homogeneous way to mix colors, you need to sharpen the tip of the pencil very thin and quite often. While covering the texture of the paper, the pencil needs to be applied slowly and with tiny movements, so it turns into a quite long period of painstaking work. For example, in order to reach the skin color, I applied a different color on each layer altogether 17 times. It took me a whole year to create all these drawings you are viewing in this e-book now.
After the drawing stage, I arranged the beads on a thread which formed the selected Latin proverbs, than with help of the needle I attached them to the paper. Thus, I have used mixed media and color pencil techniques together.

2009 yılında Prismacolor marka renkli kurşun kalem seti edindim. Eğitici kitaplar ve diğer bilgi kaynaklarından yaptığım araştırmalar sonucunda çeşitli uygulamalar yapmaya başladım. Bu kalemlerle gerçekçi tarzda resim yapmak oldukça titiz bir çalışmayı gerektiriyor. Kat kat boyama yaparken renklerin homojen bir şekilde birbirlerine karışması için kalem uçlarını sık sık ve incecik açmanız gerekiyor. Kağıdın dokusunu kaplarken kalemi çok yavaş ve küçücük hareketlerle uygulamak gerektiğinden oldukça uzunca süren zahmetli çalışma oluyor. drneğin, çizimlerimdeki ten rengini verebilmek için her katta değisik bir renkle tam 17 kat boyama işlemi uyguladım. Bu kitapda görmüş olduğunuz çizimleri gerçekleştirmek bütün bir senemi aldı.
Çizim aşaması bittikten sonra seçtiğim Latin özlü sözlerini oluşturan boncukları ipe dizip kağıda iğne yardımıyla sabitledim. Böylece renkli kalem tekniği ile karışık tekniği beraber kullanmış oldum.
