Acum o limbă grea...
Sa vorbim acum o limba grea —
o patura de bezna peste chipuri;
sa stingem, calm, tigari de ger în ea
si sa ne spele, dense, ploi de nisipuri, lenes.
O, peste lume, în maracinisuri
dezlantuiti, cai negri framântând
aluatul soarelui.
