Levon begins to squirm. Nick pulls out a plastic bag from his purse.

It contains a ruptured condom, with fingerlike Soma mushrooms growing up out of it.

NICK

What do you make of this? Fucking Lovecraftian, eh?

LEVON

Wow. Wow. That’s weird.

NICK

Looks like mushrooms? Has Deltoid been into the garbage or something?

Levon turns to run. Nick lays a strong hand on Levon’s shoulder and stops him.

NICK

Hey! What's wrong with you?

Levon panics. He wraps his arms around Nick’s leg and foolishly tries to pick him up.

LEVON

Bodyslam!

Nick shrugs Levon off. He grabs hold of the dog walker’s arm.
