“A Tale of Toes and Treats”
In the cozy drawer district of Socksville, the air was thick with excitement. It was the eve of Sockoween, the one night when socks could slip out of their drawers, don disguises, and roam the laundry lanes in search of sweet, sugary fabric softener pods.
Sir Argyle the Bold, a knee high sock with a penchant for drama, had fashioned himself into a fearsome "Sockula," complete with a cape made from a retired silk tie. His best friend, Miss Purl, a fuzzy slipper sock, had transformed into a "Werewoolf," her cuffs fluffed to monstrous proportions.
They joined a parade of socklings and threadfolk, each dressed to impress:
A tube sock masquerading as a mummy, wrapped in toilet paper.
A glittery ankle sock claiming to be a disco ghost.
A mismatched pair who insisted they were conjoined twins from a haunted hamper.
