Under Susie's rule, Summit Township's Disneyland transformed. Thursdays became "Threadbare Thursdays," where guests were required to wear mismatched socks and pledge allegiance to the Puppet Republic. Screaming was still encouraged, but only in haiku form.

Summit Township's Sockocracy was thriving-until diplomacy unraveled faster than a dollar-store puppet in a washing machine.

Chucktopia, the neighboring animatronic commune built from discarded pizza parlor mascots, viewed Susie's rise with suspicion. Their leader, General Squeakums, a half melted mouse with glowing red eyes and a voice box that only said "Funzone," declared the Sockocracy a "threat to animatronic sovereignty."

Tensions escalated when a Chucktopian drone, actually a Chinese helium balloon shaped like a pepperoni, drifted into Sockocratic airspace and exploded on contact with a rogue kazoo. Susie called it "an act of plush aggression" and mobilized her forces; sock ninjas, finger puppets trained in espionage, and a terrifying army of googly eyed glove monsters.
