Epilogue
Peace returns, but the Drawer is forever changed.
Now, the socks live in cautious peace. The junk remains, but is confined to a small, zippered pouch labeled Miscellaneous. Woolsey rests in the honored center of the Drawer, his threads frayed but proud.
