About the author

 

Zin Murphy is a British author who travelled extensively as a teacher of English as a foreign language before settling in Italy, where he worked as a translator and language editor. He now lives in Portugal and concentrates on his own words.

Murphy's stories have an international following, and his poetry has appeared in places ranging from the Venice Biennale to the Brighton Argus, as well as a multitude of literary magazines.

His short play, Bar Londra, is in the repertory of the Turin Theatre Company. He has appeared as an actor in both plays and films, including the award-winning Italian historical saga Noi Credevamo.
