IV: Bullying Gets Intrusive

AUGUST 10TH-21ST, 2009

After taking a 30 minute lunch break, I returned to my cubicle to find a woman sitting on my desk with the top buttons of her shirt unbuttoned, showing cleavage, in a seductive pose with legs dangling from my desk. I knew this woman was an employee in my department but we did not know each other or ever worked on any assignments together. She asked “Do you want some cupcakes? They’re really good. I have them at my desk. My kids made them.” I declined and proceeded to sit in my chair. Her legs were touching my arms as they sat on the armrest and it made me feel very uncomfortable. She proceeded to make small talk but ultimately left when I logged back into the company’s database and began processing. Frankie Dill (sitting at my right), Daisy Pry and Lynn Mora (sitting about five feet across from me) continuously asked each other if they wanted cupcakes and that you were “sexually attracted to boys” if you did not want one.

Heather Bradley points to me and asks pharmacist, Samuel Coleman, “So you think he is gay?” And he replies, “Yes, I get all kinds of vibes from him.”

AUGUST 21ST, 2009

The brown-haired man who cut me off in the bathroom, on April 14th, and another bald man began patrolling up and down the Medicine “A” isle and stared at me while processing prescriptions. The bald man stated next to my cubicle, “He is different than the other black workers” and that “He is more like Chidi”, who was an African employee that was very productive. Lynette Williams stood next to my cubicle and stated “He isn’t like me. I bet he has African cousins and aunts in his family” and “He must think he’s immune to what white devils have to say.”

AUGUST 24TH-SEPTEMBER 12TH, 2009

The brown-haired man who cut me off in the bathroom (as mentioned in paragraph number 2 of this document) and another bald man were with Heather Bradley one morning near my desk around 6:00am. The brown-haired man said “All I’m trying to do is protect what’s mine. So I’m thinking about doing it.” Toward the afternoon (before lunch) I witnessed the brown-haired man inviting another male employee to join the Ku Klux Klan and was subsequently told “No, get the hell away from me” by the employee. After lunch, the brown-haired man and the bald man were patrolling up and down the Medicine “A” isle and staring at me while performing on the job. Around 2:00pm a pepper spray-like substance was sprayed into the air, and I suffered a severe headache and mild eye inflammation as a result. This happened in the presence of supervisor Heather Bradley. Employees Frankie Dill and Sheryl Johnson asked if I had felt the effects of what they sprayed and I could not continue processing and had to take a 30 minute break. Heather Bradley was present when the substance was sprayed, but after I returned from a 30 minute break I noticed that she had left the building for the day and there was no one in Human Resource to report the incident to. In a meeting the next day, Heather Bradley assured me that a report would be filed with the Human Resources department but she never submitted any documentation to them. During the afternoon, I turned around in my chair to find Daisy Pry, Lynn Mora and Francis Dill laughing at Kim Gates as she was wearing a colored piece of cloth or a bag around her neck as a cape and was pretending to fly like Superman behind me.

SEPTEMBER 14TH-26TH, 2009

One day I was very productive and stayed at work until 6:00pm when I noticed a woman staring at me as I was packing up to go home. The woman is short with brown hair and has a very high position in the company. The next day she stood between Heather’s cubicle and the copy machine (in close proximity to my cubicle) and shouts “He’s just gonna sit here all day and do 300 applications? What, is this one retarded or something? I think we have a fucking retard on our hands.”

SEPTEMBER 28TH-OCTOBER 17TH, 2009 I met with Heather Bradley (at her new cubicle at the opposite end of the isle, as mentioned in paragraph number 2 of this document) to remind her to file the report with Human Resources and informed her about escalating sexual and verbal harassment happening on a daily basis. She told me to ignore the harassment and that she would file a report with HR about the previous incident.
