Does the robot finger
twitch
writhing in the socket
of the eye
where it plunged through
does programming dread
unending space
that cruel taskmaster
whipping up system fatigue
as humans slumber
does a hand still stretch
when severed
silently grasping
for a power cord
the safety switch
