Author´s note:
This short story is written to help young people to know a little about history in a form that is easy to digest, and for people of Foreign Countries who are trying to learn the language, English, to know a little of the history of the United States in a form that they might find interesting. I wish to thank all the people who have written so much about so many things and published what they have written on the internet for all to see and learn from. The internet provides great quantities of information that young and old alike can gain from. It is a medium that has been misused by many, and as a result has gained the reputation as a source of porn and useless information. Many feel that it is only good for sending messages and nothing more. In my simple way I have tried to show people that much can be gained from this wonderful source and computers, along with of course, the Encarta Encyclopedia and the World Almanac. I thank once again, all of the many people who have taken the time to write about so much. Jack Joseph de Roco
