Don’t Have Disdain
Don’t have disdain, though not the same
Our differences we cannot blame
For hate, discrimination too
I’m not so different than you
To me, this realization came
Accepting others not a game
Please, call me by my rightful name
Why hate exists, I have no clue
Don’t have disdain
My disability I claim
Equality for which I aim
Request respect is what I do
We are much alike, that is true
But accept that we are not the same
Don’t have disdain
