Seabirds and Saying Goodbye is a story of beginnings and endings, both of which will tug at your heartstrings. The patriarch of the Perry family—Tom—comes home from the hospital to die, and asks his loving wife, Goldie, to recall the story of how they met, decades earlier.Throughout the story, we’ll bounce back and forth from the early 1970’s when Tom won The Pink Octopus in a lucky hand of poker to his last weekend alive when each of his three grown children come to say goodbye.
