3-STEP LOA PROCESS TO ELECT HARRIS/WALZ 2024

(L to R: Tim Walz, Kamala Harris, Gwen Walz, Doug Emhoff, 2024)

The Law of Attraction can be our magic genie, but mastering the skill of rubbing the lamp in the correct way means learning how to more effectively use the power of our thoughts to manifest what we want--instead of attracting its opposite: what we don't want.

Use these three steps for anything you wish, but let's start together with the coming election.

1. Ask. "Let there be victory for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 election."

Notice that this "ask" is not a wimpy request or a hesitant, "Hey, um, sorry to keep asking for stuff all the time, but I'd really like it a lot if you could maybe..."

Always use a powerful statement, emulating the biblical phrase, "Let there be light!"

... and there was light.

"Let there be victory for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 election."

... and there will be victory.

2. Create a bridge of active faith. A simple way to help all of your manifestations come to fulfillment is to create a visual or tangible "bridge" that demonstrates your full belief that you will get what you asked for.

An example could be buying a new cologne if you are asking for romance, and each time you splash it on, you reiterate your request to bring the right partner into your life at the right time for a harmonious and happy relationship.

For our purpose, the bridge of active faith could be putting a Harris/Walz slogan on your fridge, wearing a campaign T-shirt or ballcap, and imagining you are going to attend their inauguration ceremony in January 2025.

Notice the word "active" in the phrase "bridge of active faith." It's generally not sufficient to ask for what we want and abandon it. Doubt and fear creep in. We start second-guessing ourselves, lowering the bar of what we'll accept, and silently schooling ourselves not to be disappointed (while our mood drops exponentially, thus negating part 1 of this process).

During the second step (the "act as if" portion of the process), we imagine how we would think, feel and behave when our wish comes true.

What if you imagine you'll have a celebration party on election night? You could create a private wishlist on Amazon and start loading it with snacks, Harris/Walz T-shirts, yard signs, balloons, streamers and party hats. You haven't spent a dime in the real world, but in the world of your mind's eye, you are planning to celebrate their win!

Imagine the great relief and happiness you will feel on election night...

And when Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are sworn in on Inauguration Day...

And when Kamala sits behind the Resolute desk and signs into law a new bill to protect reproductive rights across the country, and other landmark laws such as gun control, bipartisan immigration reform, and more.

"Feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled." -- Neville Goddard

A physical symbol such as a shirt or hat or piece of jewelry creates an easy "bridge" to help you cross from uncertainty that this process will really work, to the full-faith belief that the result is already on the way. ......

In her books, Florence Scovel Shinn relates the story of a client who wanted a large sum of money by a specific date when a bill would come due. For her "bridge," the client purchased an pink enamel letter opener and had a flash of using it to open an envelope containing a large check. The check arrived a few weeks later.

3. Give thanks in advance. Act as if you have already received your desire. All of our desires exist instantly in the invisible plane of thought, but we figuratively step on the garden hose with our doubts, and this blocks the flow of what we want to receive.

"You don't go to God with a problem. You come to God giving thanks for the answer which is yours now as you open your mind to receive." -- Dr. Joseph Murphy

When we acknowledge receiving and enjoying our gift, we bring the thought into form in the physical plane.

I am so happy and grateful now that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz won the 2024 election!

PLAY THE VIBRATIONAL MATCH GAME

As we become more aware of the connectivity between our feelings (aka vibration) and the results we experience, it can be easy to start blaming ourselves for all the things that have gone wrong in our lives, but please avoid going down that rabbit hole.

When we get caught up in looking over our shoulder at all the things we could or should have done differently, our vibration plummets. Why does that matter? Because it means that, in the present moment, we are manifesting new results from an old vibration of regret, shame, and guilt.

To get the desired outcome, we need to stay up at the higher frequencies as much as possible each day--the frequency of joy, happiness, and confidence.

We cannot attract happy results if our "normal" level of thought is far down the vibrational scale.

As children, we learn match games. For instance, a chart has two columns of images, and the task is to find the matching pairs and draw a line on the page to connect them. The horse matches the horse, the tree matches the tree, the apple matches the apple. As adults, many of us enjoy solitaire tile-matching games such as color squares or Mahjong.

But most of us aren't taught how to match what we think with the results that we experience.

When something goes wrong, we look outward for an explanation in the world around us, when we should look inward first, at our own thought habits. We don't always make the connection between what we were thinking (our own frequency level) and the results in front of us and realize that we attracted that "wrong" result by our "wrong" thinking. While we may label it a mistake, from the perspective of the laws of the universe, we received the perfect match to the vibrational messages we were emitting.

If you’re worried about paying bills, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re going to open the mail and there will be another bill. However, it could mean that you get a permanent stain on a favorite shirt, or you trip on the stairs and sprain your ankle.

Check in with yourself throughout the day and notice how you are feeling. If you're worried, upset, frantic to meet a deadline, then you are not operating at your highest potential. In turn, this means you are not attracting those wonderful results that you would like to bring into your experience.

We’re not on a magical planet, where you snap your fingers, and your wish is fulfilled. But the time delay between thought and result is a valuable buffer zone so that we can adjust our frequency and not inadvertently create chaos every time we have an angry or sad thought.

"If there is any fear, worry or anxiety in your thoughts, you are not really thinking. There is no fear or negation of any kind in true thinking." -- Dr. Joseph Murphy

Imagine your mind is a car: when things are going wrong, simply reverse your thought-vehicle immediately and go the other way!

But... if all of this is true, then how do people like Donald Trump get so much power and wealth?

Remember the universal laws don't judge right or wrong, good or bad. The universe responds to "vibration" and when bad people vibrate a strong sense of entitlement and mental images of great wealth and power, fully believing they will receive what they have asked for, then the 3-step LOA process works for them, too.

Too often, the biblical quote that instructs us how to use the natural law of attraction is truncated to two steps: Ask and ye shall receive. The missing middle step--"believe"-- is the one that is vital to success.

"Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive: and they shall come unto you." Mark 11:24

I'm not saying we should blithely dismiss the unfortunate times in life--the death of a family member or friend, a financial downturn, a medical crisis, and so on. Due to the "buffer zone" between our thoughts, feelings and results, we don't need to worry that feeling depressed or upset one day means we have just killed all of our beautiful dreams in one fell swoop.

However, the more we learn to focus our "now" thoughts on the joy we desire, the more we start working in consensus with the laws of the mind to get what we want. This is how we gain more control over our own lives as well as the results we experience collectively.

And we don't even need to bring to mind specific results or read a long wish list every day, especially if doing so makes you feel discouraged that you're not getting ahead as quickly as you'd like.

I write books about happiness and using the laws of the mind. The instant way to get in congruence with happy results is--you guessed it--get happy! Find ways to feel gratitude and appreciation for even the small things in life, and you will establish a new habit of good-finding that will put you in the higher stratosphere of vibrations where you will now match the joyful results on your wish list.

If you want to attract more money into your life, and you see a penny on the ground or get a rebate check for 41 cents, shift away from the sour thought that might come to mind such as "well, that's hardly gonna help!" and instantly praise the money for appearing in your life. Give thanks for it! You might even leave the coin on the ground for someone else to come across so they can feel gratitude, too. Praising the small things in life opens the doors wide for even more on that wavelength to come into our lives.

We can't change even one moment of the past. When we stay in the "now," we have all the power we need to create what we want, and in that creative mode we can also heal wounds of the past by the healthier new actions we perform in the present.

"Always say 'yes' to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? What could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say 'yes' to life--and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you." -- Eckhart Tolle

The more we learn how to work with the law of attraction, the more we can cast a glance back over our own lives and forgive ourselves and others, so that we free our energy to move forward in the now moment.

“Never finish a negative statement; reverse it immediately, and wonders will happen in your life.” -- Dr. Joseph Murphy

Let's abandon the idea that we need to "resist" the Republican candidates and their agenda.

Instead, let's "persist" in supporting Kamala Harris and all the great things the Democrats plan for the coming years.

If someone says, "But we MUST defeat Trump!"... What comes to mind? His scowl. His fist in the air. His rants. His scorn for women, people of color, and the disabled. His crimes. The Jan 6th Insurrection.

Trump's agenda is what we don't want to bring into reality. And yet, in harmony with the laws of the mind, the more we think about Trump and talk about him and worry about the Republicans' agenda--the more of our energy pours into his campaign.

Let's focus on the outcome we do want: victory for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, because they will lead the country forward with progressive leadership and laws to benefit the most people, not the few.

I think that most of us learned at an early age that we need to work hard to get ahead in life, to do well in school, to have friends, to be liked. When we had trouble with homework or a project, often the response from parents, teachers and older siblings would be, "Try harder!"

We grow up with models of success in front of us, and the injunction that you can't get ahead by being lazy. Real change takes hard work. But is that always true?

When the task is measurable, like weeding the yard, cleaning your room, washing the dishes, then the advice to keep going in the direction you started makes sense. We're told that real change takes work: hard work (we are warned), which implies unpleasantly long hours and sleepless nights, and fast-food meals for the duration.

The more we learn about using the law of attraction deliberately (rather than haphazardly, out of ignorance), the easier it is to see that most of our habitual thinking works against desires such as love, satisfaction with our work or life calling, health, and happiness.

I don't know about you, but for me, "waiting patiently," has not always been a virtue I cultivated. But in studying the laws of the mind over the past many years, I've learned the value of stating my intention and then waiting for a hunch, an inspiration, or a sign to indicate what I should do next. It is a skill worth understanding, because it is a little-known but powerful way to get the results we desire.

Florence Scovel Shinn was an author and teacher of "New Thought" principles which show us how to work with the natural laws of the mind. In her books, she often relays conversations she had with her students. In this passage from Shinn's book "The Game of Life and How to Play It," she explains how to ask for a "definite lead": Man must make the first move. “Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.” I have often been asked just how to make a demonstration. I reply: “Speak the word and then do not do anything until you get a definite lead.” Demand the lead, saying, “Infinite Spirit, reveal to me the way, let me know if there is anything for me to do.” The answer will come through intuition (or hunch); a chance remark from someone, or a passage in a book, etc., etc. The answers are sometimes quite startling in their exactness. For example: A woman desired a large sum of money. She spoke the words: “Infinite Spirit, open the way for my immediate supply, let all that is mine by divine right now reach me, in great avalanches of abundance.” Then she added: “Give me a definite lead."

The student received the money she was seeking.

Shinn also cautions her students to be patient. Waiting is an important part of the "act as if" middle step in the law of attraction process of ask-believe-receive. When we start worrying that the results won't turn out as hoped for, we inadvertently drop to a lower vibrational frequency level--and, now that we don't match the higher level of the good that we want, it cannot come to us.

Let's agree to uplift our own energy each day to "match" the outcome we desire, the joyful celebration of the inauguration of Kamala Harris as the 47th President of the United States.

USE "EFT" TO TAP AWAY YOUR FEAR THAT TRUMP

WILL WIN

You may have heard of "tapping" as a method to release fear and anxiety in all areas of your life: family, work/school, personal goals and relationships. Tapping is another name for "EFT" which stands for Emotional Freedom Technique.

EFT was created in 1995 by Gary Craig to accelerate the results of psychotherapy by using some of the same pressure points that are used in acupuncture and acupressure. When you uncover your deep feelings about issues troubling you, then you can release the pain and fear that are roadblocks in your life.

Tapping is easy to learn and, depending on the length of the EFT script, it takes only a few minutes to use.

The EFT script I wrote for this book is intended to energize all of us to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, as well as other progressive leaders.

Make a commitment to use this tapping process once a day for at least the next 30 days. Later, you can easily change the words in the script to address any concern you have that is causing distress.

Many EFT practitioners suggest that you take a moment to assess the level of your anxiety before you begin, using a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest level of stress and fear. And then, after you complete one round of tapping, score your feelings again. In general, you'll find that your level of stress drops with each round of tapping.

It may seem counterintuitive to verbalize fears and worries in EFT. If you're like me, you learned a long time ago to put on a happy face and shove down all dark, ugly and anxiety-inducing facts of life. All of that "shoving" doesn't remove the fear but verbalizing it while tapping does help bring it out in the open so that we can heal.

What are the tapping points?

We will be using nine meridian points in this tapping session, in the following order:

1. Karate chop – the outer edge of your hand or the "karate chop" point. The only time we'll use this one is during the opening sequence (called the "setup").

2. Eyebrow – the point where the eyebrow starts, nearest your nose. It doesn't matter whether you use your left or right eyebrow. 3. Side of eye – the bony point on your face just outside your eye. Don't go as far out as your temple. You want to be tapping at the side of your eye, on the bone.

4. Under eye – just below your eye, on the bone. 5. Under nose – that fleshy indentation under your nose (above your lip).

6. Under mouth – just below your lower lip, but not on the mouth itself.

7. Collarbone – tap with all five fingertips, your fist, or the flat of your hand in the bony area where the knot of a man's tie would be. 8. Under arm – about 4 inches below your armpit; an easy way is to follow the seam of your shirt down 4 inches, and you'll be tapping in the correct spot.

9. Top of head – the crown of your head.

How to tap

Hold up the first two fingers of your dominant hand and tap with your fingertips on the meridian points that are on the other side of the body.

With the collarbone tapping point, you may want to use the flat of your hand or your fist to tap, since the area is a bit larger than the other tapping points.

Some people like to use both hands and tap both sides of the body at the same time. For example, for tapping under the eye, you'd tap under the left eye with your left fingers at the same time you are tapping under the right eye with your right fingers. This means that in step #8, you'll be giving yourself a little hug when you cross your arms to tap under your armpits.

Please note that we use the "karate chop" meridian only once, at the beginning of the session.

Bottom line: try out various techniques until you feel comfortable with what works for you.

There are no "wrong" ways to tap!

Instructions

1. Get comfortable in a quiet room. Don't try to do tapping exercises while driving, watching TV, or fixing dinner. Give it your full attention. 2. When you tap, simply tap your skin at least three times while repeating the phrase. If it is a longer message, keep tapping for as long as you speak the phrase.

3. It is preferable to speak the messages out loud. You can do so silently if you prefer, but please move your lips so that you are interacting with the tapping and gaining the most advantage from the exercise. 4. For each message, you don't need to state the tapping location. Example:

Karate chop: " Even though I feel stressed out and anxious about the

election..."

You would say, "Even though I feel stressed out and anxious about the

election..."

Let's start Tapping!

Before you begin, I suggest taking a look at the Karate chop opening. If there are additional issues at the top of your anxiety list about the election, feel free to add them to the script.

The tapping script below will take about 4-5 minutes to complete. You can do it faster or slower. The pace is up to you and what feels most comfortable when you are tapping.

Karate chop

Even though I feel stressed out and anxious about the election...

I accept myself completely.

Even though I am terrified Trump will win...

I choose to believe in freedom and joy.

Even though I'm worried every time I watch the news, and even though I feel upset Trump will fool Republican voters that he's the best choice,

and even though I'm freaking out about all the MAGA plans to suppress Democrats' votes...

I accept myself fully and deeply.

Eyebrow point

I feel upset about all the wonderful things in our country the Republicans want to destroy.

Side of the eye

I feel overwhelmed about tax increases for the middle class, assault weapons, the high costs of health care, and so many other important issues.

Under the eye

I try to let go of my fears,

Under the nose

But I just can't stop worrying!

Under the mouth

I feel helpless to let friends and family who are Republicans understand what a bad choice Trump would be!

Collarbone

After all, I don't even have to tell them I'm not voting for Trump

Under arm

Because I don't want to start pointless arguments at work and at home.

Top of the head

I wish Trump would just concede defeat right now.

Eyebrow point

But that's not going to happen.

Side of the eye

The extremist Republicans are throwing millions of dollars into ads to sway voters.

Under the eye

And I can't stop them.

Under the nose

I feel powerless...

Under the mouth

and that's just the way it is.

Collarbone

I know I need to stop worrying,

Under arm

And I am certain that my party has the strongest candidates,

Top of the head

Who have the best interests of the American people at heart,

Eyebrow point

but I know millions of Republican voters don't know the truth about Kamala's campaign...

Side of the eye

And they'll vote for Trump because they always vote Republican... and they just don't see how dangerous Trump really is.

Under the eye

I'm afraid the outcome on election night will be what happened with Al Gore, what happened with Hillary Clinton!

Under the nose

I wish I could make a bigger difference.

Under the mouth

I wish I could reach out to Republicans and make them see the facts!

Collarbone

I get depressed when I see a social media post or news flash that Trump's numbers are surging.

Under arm

I'd like to stay positive all the time about Kamala Harris's campaign...

Top of the head

but how can I?

Eyebrow point

I've got to face the reality of the numbers in the news, don't I?

Side of the eye

I'm exhausted every time I think about the election.

Under the eye

I can't enjoy my life with the threat of another four years of Donald Trump in the White House.

Under the nose

I know it won't magically get better soon.

Under the mouth

I try to act cheerful...

Collarbone

but inside... I'm so worried.

Under arm

I'm sick and tired of all this stress over the campaign issues.

Top of the head

I want to let go of my fears about Trump...

Eyebrow point

and all the Republican plans that will destroy so much progress we've made,

Side of the eye

slam the middle class with even more taxes,

Under the eye

allow gun violence to continue in our schools and communities,

Under the nose

and enact a nation-wide abortion ban with or without Congress.

Under the mouth

Up until now, I have felt stressed over Trump more often than not.

Collarbone

But I'm going to reverse this, and so I choose to take back my power!

Under arm

This is MY life and MY country.

Top of the head

I want Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to win.

Eyebrow point

I choose freedom, joy, liberty, and justice for all.

Side of the eye

I join with everyone who says, "We're not going back!"

Under the eye

I'm ready to see things differently.

Under the nose

Worry is just my inner reaction to outside events.

Under the mouth

It's not even a real thing!

Collarbone

I choose to see peace and freedom instead.

Under arm

I choose to believe that the American voters will send Kamala and Tim to the White House.

Top of the head

Even though I still have some stress and anxiety about the election,

Eyebrow point

I choose to release it.

Side of the eye

I can do this!

Under the eye

I choose to feel good about myself and the election.

Under the nose

No matter what's going on around me...

Under the mouth

I'll hold firm to my belief in the Democratic Party platform that includes improving education opportunities, wages, Social Security and Medicare, and so much more.

Collarbone

I won't let the Republicans control how I feel.

Under arm

I'm not avoiding the challenges in this election.

Top of the head

I'm facing them,

Eyebrow point

but now I'm in charge of how I feel about the process.

Side of the eye

I feel positive about myself and the Democratic candidates.

Under the eye

I feel confident, and hopeful.

Under the nose

I am totally open to feeling better.

Under the mouth

Worrying that Trump will win gives my energy to his campaign.

Collarbone

And I'm much too aware now to keep doing that.

Under arm

It's safe to release my worry and anxiety about the election.

Top of the head

I feel confident that Kamala Harris will be our next President.

[End of tapping session.]

Now take a deep breath.

Exhale, blowing out all the stress.

If your 1-10 score is still higher than you'd like, consider repeating the session one or two more times now, and then continue using it daily.

Disclaimer: The EFT exercise in this book is not intended to replace any healthcare or wellness advice from your health professional. In using this tapping session created for your information, you agree to accept responsibility for your own health and well-being.

ALL-PURPOSE ENERGIZER

If you snooped in someone's kitchen cupboards and drawers (okay, let's not call it snooping, let's say they asked you to grab a bottle opener, so you had to hunt for it) you'd probably find such items as an "all-purpose" kitchen knife, "all-purpose" flour, "all-purpose" household cleaner, and "all-purpose" cooking oil, all of which cut down on the number of products to purchase because they each serve a variety of uses.

There's an all-purpose mood lifter, too. And it's something you already own and have had since infancy.

It's your smile.

The process in this section is all about smiling to raise your vibration.

Smile, for no reason.

Just smile.

The decision to smile immediately sends a reaction to the muscles in your face and throughout your body.

Your scrunched-up forehead smooths. The corners of your mouth tilt up. Your breathing becomes deeper and freer. Your shoulders drop, easing the tension you might not have even realized you were feeling, because stress has become such a "normal" part of your life.

It takes less energy and fewer facial muscles to smile than it does to frown.

Notice the energy shift as you smile more often at others, even passing strangers. It doesn't hurt to give a friendly smile, a nod of the head, acknowledging the other person's existence.

The muscle memory of smiling is connected to your brain, and the muscle movement triggers instant recollection of other times you've smiled, so that you are immediately vibrating at a higher level. You automatically attract more good things into your experience, in response to your higher "frequency."

I was born in Texas but, after several moves, I've lived in Southern California most of my life. Growing up, my father was a Democrat, and my mother was a Republican (this was long before Trump and his ilk, of course, because she'd never vote for him) and they just told me and my older sisters to make up our own minds which party we liked the best.

When John F. Kennedy was elected, we moved from Houston to Washington, D.C., where my father worked for the Department of Interior. During WW2, he had been with the O.S.S. and the Army Corps of Engineers.

I was just a kid when JFK was President, but at that time, we were under the looming threat of Russian missiles, with D.C. being the primary target.

At school, the nuns conducted nuclear bomb drills. We'd jump up, hide under our desks with our arms over our heads, and wait with bated breath for the all-clear signal. We were taught to chant, "Better dead than Red!" That part of the drill was to prepare us that we might die at any moment but should be grateful we weren't caught by the Communists and forced to become one. At that time, everyone I knew built bomb shelters or at least prepared a designated area of the home, as we did, with water, canned food, other emergency supplies, flashlights, and blankets. Fortunately, we never had to rely on these preparations because the missile crisis was averted.

But that was then (1962), and this is now.

When Russia invaded Ukraine in Feb. 2022, Donald Trump called Putin a "genius" and "savvy" for doing so. In Feb. 2024, CNN reported that former President Donald Trump said he would encourage Russia to do "whatever the hell they want" to any NATO member country that doesn't meet spending guidelines on defense, in what they called "a stunning admission" he would not abide by the collective-defense clause at the heart of the alliance if reelected [in 2024].

Trump has made it clear that he would put Putin's agenda before the best interests of the United States and our allies.

Stay with me as I seemingly jump to a new topic... I live in Los Angeles, and we have occasional earthquakes. Recently, I installed a phone app called "MyShake" and about two days later, it suddenly bleeped a loud warning, with a text image and message: EARTHQUAKE WARNING: DROP! COVER! HOLD ON!

Then I felt the jolt of what turned out to be a 2.9 earthquake from about 100 miles away, near Bakersfield. Less than a week later, there was a 4.4 quake, centered just east of Pasadena, a few miles from where I live.

Sensitive instruments around the globe detect imminent quakes and instantly send a text message to everyone in that vicinity who has installed the free phone app. They also send silent notices for other earthquakes around the world, so you can stay informed.

There isn't an app for it (yet) but we do have an "inner meter" that tells us at any given moment whether we are in a mode of attracting or of pushing away what we want.

How can this help? Get in the habit of noticing how you are feeling. And when the name "Donald Trump" or the words "Project 2025" sets your heart pounding in fear, and it seems like the world as we know it might fall apart, and your knees are quaking...

LOW-VIBRATION WARNING: STOP! BREATHE! SMILE!

You don’t have to think about politics to benefit the Harris/Walz campaign. Focus on being happy, joyful, loving, and kind. That frequency does not match the extremist Republican agenda. But it does match the Democratic platform!

When fear strikes, rely on your "all-purpose energizer"...

STOP! BREATHE! SMILE!

To raise your vibration. And thus, attract more good things into your life.

ONE-MINUTE MEDITATIONS

Feeling pressed for time? Overworked and totally stressed? That's a big clue from your inner self to take a moment to get centered and remember your overall purpose for being here at this time in history. Why are we here, together at this time? To create more joy and love in the world.

And so, therefore...

While you're walking to and from your car, the bus or subway, or out for a stroll.

While you're standing in line at the store or waiting for coffee to perk.

While you're brushing your teeth...

Establish the easy daily habit of finding little moments to refresh and reinvigorate your spirit by opening to love and your connectivity with all living beings.

Simply repeat the following phrases and words or create your own variation of something easy to say over and over to gently instill a sense of relaxation and rightness of being.

Love, peace, light, and joy to the world.

Joy, joy, joy...

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

I am so happy and grateful now that _______________ [fill in the blank]

I have all the time I need for what I want to do.

The good I desire is already here, already here.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if _______________ [fill in the blank]

I am the creator of my daily experience and, therefore, I think, speak, and do only what is in harmony with the results I want to attract.

Angels and Guides, please energize and assist me now to live and serve at my highest potential each day.

"Things are always working out for me." -- Abraham-Hicks

It is done. [The 3-word affirmation "It is done" is a great shortcut when you have a hefty list of dreams you wish to fulfill. No need to enumerate them, simply breathe in and out a few times to relax your body, smile, and then bask in the realization that all of your desires are already in the works because of your vibrational requests. Your only job is to avoid stomping all over them with doubt, worry, fear, and discouragement.]

TAKE A JOURNEY WITHIN

Self-confidence can take a hit when doubt sneaks into our thoughts, such as when we overhear others dissing the Democratic candidates, or catch an ad promoting the Republican platform, or read a trending social media post that claims Trump is surging ahead in the polls.

At times, you may find yourself feeling discouraged or overwhelmed.

Make a commitment to yourself to take a break for at least a few minutes every day for soulful contemplation. Select one of the eleven narratives below or use a statement of your own or a favorite quotation, and read it thoughtfully at least once.

Relax, and reflect on how you can elevate your frequency to enjoy life at a higher level than you have experienced up until now.

Then close your eyes, breathe mindfully for a few moments, and end your meditative journey, knowing that you have just amplified your ability to create the results you desire in all areas of your life and environs--including your desire to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Meditations

"A quietness of spirit. Feel it. Sense it. So relaxed and so at ease. Breathing

deeply and relaxing completely. I am at peace with myself, the world, and everyone in it. I accept that my life can be anything I desire it to be. I accept

that I can focus awareness to improve my life. I accept that life with all its complications is worth living. I accept that negativity can flow through me without affecting me. I accept that I have the power and ability to experience peace of mind." --Dick Sutphen

"I give thanks for my whirlwind success. I sweep all before me, for I work

with the Spirit and follow the Divine Plan of my life. The decks are cleared for Divine action. This affirmation is very strong, for it brings a feeling of tremendous power. Old thought-forms dissolve, and the Divine idea of success takes its place." -- Florence Scovel Shinn

"Command and determine with all of your will at the beginning of the day

that, 'I have thought thousands of good thoughts today.' On average, humans think well over 50,000 thoughts a day, so you have 50,000 opportunities to think good thoughts today." -- Rhonda Byrne

"There is only one choice, out of the infinity of choices available in every

second, that will create happiness for you as well as for those around you. And when you make that one choice, it will result in a form of behavior that is called spontaneous right action. Spontaneous right action is the right action at the right moment. It's the right response to every situation as it happens. It's the action that nourishes you and everyone else who is influenced by that action." -- Deepak Chopra

"For when you ask, it is always given, every time, with no exceptions. If

something that you desire is not coming, it can only be that you are not allowing it to come because of the thoughts that you practice that are contrary to your own desire." -- Abraham-Hicks

"If one asks for success and prepares for failure, he will get the situation he

has prepared for. For example: A man came to me asking me to speak the word that a certain debt would be wiped out. I found he spent his time planning what he would say to the man when he did not pay his bill, thereby neutralizing my words. He should have seen himself paying the debt.... Man must prepare for the thing he has asked for, when there isn't the slightest sign of it in sight." -- Florence Scovel Shinn

"Instead of accepting present circumstances or being content with gradual

improvement, you go for a breakthrough.... Quantum leaps are merely the

process of using yourself and your world differently, thus allowing other possibilities that exist to actually materialize. Your willingness to make a quantum leap is the enabler.... Quantum leaps require you to abandon the status quo. Instead of once again trying what you have always done, maybe with even more intensity and determination, ignore the usual... Look for a paradoxical move. You must do something new!" -- Price Pritchett

"There is no substitute for persistence! It cannot be supplanted by any

other quality! Remember this, and it will hearten you, in the beginning, when the going may seem difficult and slow. Those who have cultivated the habit of persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure. No matter how many times they are defeated, they finally arrive up toward the top of the ladder. Sometimes it appears that there is a hidden Guide whose duty is to test men through all sorts of discouraging experiences. Those who pick themselves up after defeat and keep on trying, arrive; and the world cries, 'Bravo! I knew you could do it!' The hidden Guide lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing the persistence test. Those who can't take it, simply do not make the grade." -- Napoleon Hill

"I fear no evil for God is with me. I am always surrounded by the sacred

circle of God's love and power. I claim, feel, know, and believe definitely and positively that the spell of God's love and eternal watchfulness guides, heals and watches over me and all members of my family. I forgive everyone, and I sincerely radiate God's love, peace and goodwill to all men everywhere. At the center of my being is peace; this is the peace of God. In this stillness I feel His strength, guidance, and the love of His Holy Presence. I am divinely guided in all my ways. I am a clear channel for God's love, light, truth and beauty. I feel His River of Peace flowing through me now. I know that all my problems are dissolved in the mind of God. God's ways are my ways. The words I have spoken accomplish that whereunto they are sent. I rejoice and give thanks, realizing my prayers are answered. It is so." -- Dr. Joseph Murphy

"All the good that is to be made manifest in man's life is already an

accomplished fact in divine mind, and is released through man's recognition, or spoken word, so he must be careful to decree that only the Divine Idea be made manifest, for often, he decrees, through his "idle words," failure or misfortune. It is, therefore, of the utmost importance, to

word one's demands correctly. If one desires a home, friend, position or any other good thing, make the demand for the "divine selection." For example: "Infinite Spirit, open the way for my right home, my right friend, my right position. I give thanks it now manifests under grace in a perfect way." -- Florence Scovel Shinn

"It feels so good to realize that the Energy that creates worlds is supporting

you; to wake up every morning in clarity, knowing exactly who-you-are; to know that Source is thinking through you; to experience meaningful rendezvous; to dovetail with the right people who give you the right piece of information just at the right time; to never feel dependent upon anyone; to know with clarity who-you-are; to feel the Energy that creates worlds moving through your fingertips and through your mind; to see evidence all around you of the thoughts you have been thinking and to feel the power of who-you-are! That's what you came for. -- Abraham-Hicks

INSPIRING QUOTES

I find that great quotes are a lot like potato chips--it's hard to stop with "just one." I was tempted to include full transcripts of all the amazing speeches at DNC 2024, but you can find the video clips on YouTube, and transcripts of the major speeches are online as well.

I hope you enjoy this selection:

"Folks, we've got a chance to make Kamala Harris the next president of the United States. But I think we owe it to the American people to tell them exactly what she'd do as president before we ask them for their votes. So this is the part--clip and save it, and send it to your undecided relatives so they know: If you're a middle-class family, or trying to get into the middle class, Kamala Harris is going to cut your taxes. If you're getting squeezed by prescription drug prices, Kamala Harris is going to take on Big Pharma. If you're hoping to buy a home, Kamala Harris is going to help make it more affordable. And no matter who you are, Kamala Harris is going to stand up and fight for your freedom to live the life that you want to lead, because that's what we want for ourselves, and it's what we want for our neighbors. -- Tim Walz, from his Vice-Presidential candidate acceptance speech, DNC 2024

"America is ready for a new chapter. America's ready for a better story." -- Barack Obama

"America, let us show each other and the world who we are and what we stand for: Freedom, opportunity, compassion, dignity, fairness and endless possibilities." -- Kamala Harris

"Democrats never agree on anything, that's why they're Democrats. If they agreed with each other, they'd be Republicans." -- Will Rogers (a Democrat)

"Well-behaved women seldom make history." -- Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

"Every time we turn our heads the other way when we see the law flouted, when we tolerate what we know to be wrong, when we close our eyes and ears to the corrupt because we are too busy or too frightened, when we fail to speak up and speak out, we strike a blow against freedom and decency and justice." -- Robert F. Kennedy (1925-1968)

"The parable of Jan. 6th [the insurrection at the US Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021 spearheaded by Donald Trump when he refused to accept he lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden] reminds us that our democracy is only as strong as the courage and commitment of those entrusted with its care. And we must choose leaders who believe in free and fair elections, who respect the peaceful transfer of power." -- Nancy Pelosi

"Hear me on this: it's not freedom to tell our children what books they're allowed to read. No it's not. And it's not freedom to tell women what they can do with their bodies. And hear me on this, it sure as hell isn't freedom to say you can go vote, but he [Donald Trump] gets to pick the winner. That's not freedom." Josh Shapiro, Former Republican

"We all do better when we work together. Our differences do matter, but our common humanity matters more." -- Bill Clinton

"Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe." -- Oprah Winfrey "We cannot be both the world's leading champion of peace and the world's leading supplier of the weapons of war." -- Jimmy Carter

"This is preeminently the time to speak the truth, the whole truth, frankly and boldly. Nor need we shrink from honestly facing conditions in our country today. This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself -- nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." -- Franklin D. Roosevelt

"When they go low, we go high." -- Michelle Obama

"If you do politics the right way, I believe, you can actually make people's lives better. And integrity is the minimum ante to get into the game." -- Joe Biden

"I'm convinced of this: Good done anywhere is good done everywhere. For a change, start by speaking to people rather than walking by them like they're stones that don't matter. As long as you're breathing, it's never too late to do some good." -- Maya Angelou

"Every moment wasted looking back, keeps us from moving forward." -- Hillary Rodham Clinton

"True patriotism springs from a belief in the dignity of the individual, freedom and equality not only for Americans but for all people on earth, universal brotherhood and good will, and a constant striving toward the principles and ideals on which this country was founded." -- Eleanor Roosevelt

"Let me tell you something. When she [Kamala Harris] takes her oath of office--as she will this January--our allies will cheer, our enemies will fear, and we will have a commander-in-chief that we can trust! God bless our veterans and God bless our country. -- Leon Panetta (former U.S. Secretary of Defense and former CIA Director, speaking at DNC 2024)

"Ask not what your country can do for you--ask what you can do for your country." -- John F. Kennedy

"Democracy is the government of the people, by the people, for the people." -- Abraham Lincoln "There's a story that's sometimes called the parable of the long spoons. No one is sure which religion or philosophy it originates from, though it seems to appear as a myth in many traditions. The details change across cultures--spoons, chopsticks, soup, or rice. But the basic points are the same: A man asks God to show him heaven and hell, and God presents to him two rooms. In the first, sickly people sit around a table, and in the center is a gigantic pot of delicious-smelling soup. Each person can reach the pot, but their spoons are so long that there is no way to get them back into their mouths. Each tortured soul struggles in vain to get a bite to eat. They writhe in pain as they fruitlessly ladle and starve. This, of course, is hell. And in the second room is the same table, the same soup, the same terribly long spoons—but this time, the diners, sated and happy, pour spoonfuls of soup into their neighbors' mouths. In hell, we starve alone. In heaven, we feed each other."-- Jill Biden

"All people are born alike--except Republicans and Democrats." -- Groucho Marx

PRESIDENTIAL FACTOID

George Washington was the first "president" of any country in history, and also in the United States. He declined the position, but then was convinced to accept it. His term was from 1789 until 1797. Washington strongly believed that the U.S. presidency should never move toward becoming a monarchy or dictatorship.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY PLATFORM IN BRIEF

In case you are reading this book out of curiosity, not sure if you should vote the Republican ticket or not, here's a little information about the values that Democrats endorse, in general, united by our shared vision of moving forward with greater freedom and self-expression for all citizens.

The Democratic party embraces progressive ideals, including but not limited to:

employment opportunities and fair wages

guaranteed education for all children

marriage equality

affordable healthcare

reproductive freedom

the bipartisan border security bill that Donald Trump killed in Congress but

Kamala will sign into law when she is President

criminal justice reform

tax reform for billionaires and corporations to pay their share instead of

getting off scot-free with massive tax cuts, burdening the middle class with higher taxes

workable solutions to relieve poverty and homelessness

protection for voters at polling stations

climate, environment, and energy regulations

protect Social Security and Medicare benefits

the belief that women's rights and LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual,

Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual) rights are human rights

And the list goes on... animal rights, workplace safety regulations, improved

medical care, affordable insurance ... progressive causes that can help ensure a healthier and happier lifestyle for the citizens of these United States while we continue to move onward and upward to a more evolved and equitable society.
