Be ADZAM:
Use arcade mode and pick a Federation pilot. Pick the first stage and wait until you get to a desert mission you should be fighting one Zaku2, one Gouf and an ADZAM mobile armor. Target the ADZAM and destroy it to get it in versus mode.
Be BIG-ZAM:
Use arcade mode and pick a Federation pilot. The easiest way to encounter it is to Pick the fourth stage. Kill it to get it in versus mode. The only way to kill it with most Mobile Suits (or Gundams) is to jump up and hit its main body with your Beam Sword.
Be BRAW-BRO:
Use arcade mode and pick a Federation pilot. Pick either the third or fourth stage, and at the second to last mission you will fight a mobile armor called BRAW-BRO. Kill it yourself to get it in versus mode. Note: This will not work if an ally makes the kill.
Be G-BULL:
Use arcade mode and pick a Zeon pilot. Pick the second or third stage. Play until you reaching a space battle where you will fight the G-BULL and one other Mobile Suit. Target and destroy the G-BULL to get it in versus mode.
Be G-FIGHTER:
Use arcade mode and pick a Zeon pilot. Pick the fourth stage and play until reaching the second to last mission. You will fight a Guntank and the G-FIGHTER. Target and destroy the G-FIGHTER to get it in versus mode.
Be GRABRO:
Use arcade mode and pick a Federation pilot. Pick one of the four stages and wait until you get to a mission where Zeon forces are attacking a base called Belfast. Target the GRABRO and just keep shooting it until it explodes to get it in versus mode. Note: This will not work if an ally makes the kill.
Be G-SKY:
Use arcade mode and pick a Zeon pilot. Pick the fourth stage and play until reaching a battle in space where you fight a Gelgoog and the G-SKY. Target and kill the G-SKY to get it in versus mode.
To Get both sides Mobile Suits you have to finish the arcade mode with the Federation and Zeon.Then see if it happens.
2 New Guys:
Beat the game on Federation mode and then save, then, go into v.s. mode. You will now have a tank for federation and a ship for Zeon.

Defeating the CPU: Use the following trick to defeat the CPU with two to four players under the hard difficulty setting. Go to "Custom Rules" and set the houses to 88 and apartments to 22. Turn the jackpot on and set the Landing On Go bonus to $400.00. Pick Land On Free Parking and set the jackpot to $750.00. Use the classic view, as it is easier to see before choosing whichever board you desire. When you start the game, buy only the properties you can get three of and avoid the railroads and utilities. Do not bid top high on the properties that you cannot get much money for. Never bid more money than you have, as you do not want to mortgage properties. Try to get a set, even if it means trading with the CPU or offering them money. Sometimes you will have to offer them both. Once you get a set of two or three, put houses on the cheapest house first, unless you have Boardwalk and Park Place, so you can save money and eventually put up hotels on all your properties. If you have many houses or hotels and get in jail, try to stay in there as long as you can and collect your money. You can also stay in jail if the CPU has many houses or hotels to remain on the safe side. Try to have at least $100 to $200 or more to stay safe. Even if you have to wait to pass Go or land on Free Parking, once you start getting sets and hotels on those properties, try to get sets that are next to each other, or on an entire side of the board.
