While at a Starbucks inside a Target department store in midtown Charlotte, the author (Agent 33) overhears an interesting conversation at an adjacent table between a writer and a possible literary agent. The bizarrely unique techniques that this now-published writer used to get his first novel in print are revealed. Sorry, no Mr. Malloy in this one.
