too active after a conversation that has left a
strong impression on you. Or, maybe you
haven’t had a good sleep, your mind is dull,
and you can’t properly concentrate.
Also, I’ve heard from many practitioners that
the practice tends to be more pleasant in the
beginning. And then as they reach a certain
level of depth, more suppressed emotions
start coming out. And many people get upset
comparing their current experiences to their
previous ones.
The whole point of practice is just practice. To
stay there where you are, and do that what
you’re doing. If it happens to be amazing,
enjoy it. If it happens to be nothing special,
it’s Okay. Don’t overreach on either.
It’s not due to your efforts and talents that the
practice is great on a certain day. And, it’s not
because of your mistakes that the practice is
just average on a different day.
You don’t even need to step on the yoga mat
to experience a moment of bliss, and you can’t
