The Maiden's Odyssey is set in the 8th Century BCE. A young captive named Nerissa is transported from Asia Minor to the Greek island of Ithaca. Purchased by a member of the oligarchy, her master discovers Nerissa’s keen intelligence, and involves her in his plan to introduce democracy.
