Chapter  10       The Modern History of the Blue Planet

I. The Outskirts of the East Kunlun Empire

Approximately 3,000 years ago, the devils devised a plan to alter the genetic makeup of the East Kunlun people. They strategically positioned various cannibal tribes and individuals with devilish genes around the East Kunlun Empire. Their purpose was to let these cannibal tribes and individuals flourish and eventually intermix and interbreed with the East Kunlun people, thereby tainting the pure genetic heritage of the East Kunlun people. Over several thousand years, these expanded cannibal tribes launched many wars against the East Kunlun Empire, nearly wiping out the native population on several occasions.

During these conflicts, the male inhabitants were killed, while the females were subjected to sexual exploitation in order to bear offspring. The cannibals even consumed their prisoners of war for amusement. After numerous rounds of warfare spanning two millennia, the genetic purity of the East Kunlun people had been significantly compromised. This phenomenon was not isolated to the East Kunlun Empire alone, but rather, it affected the entire global population of the Blue Planet. Human nature had long ceased to be purely benevolent, and instead, it encompassed both goodness and evil.

Prior to these wars, there were still some individuals in the East Kunlun Empire who managed to succeed in their spiritual practices and achieve dimensional ascension through secret methods. However, due to the infiltration of demonic and cannibalic genes into the human gene pool, the likelihood of success in the PVED practice diminished. Since 1,000 years ago, no one has been able to achieve dimensional ascension anymore. From the perspective of all humans, intermarriage and procreation with individuals possessing devilish and cannibal genes is seen as polluting the human gene pool. Those who willingly marry and have children with "Ahuri people" are particularly culpable, as they aid the devils in degrading the quality of humans and contaminating human genes. They are cursed to be reborn as Ahuri people in their next life if they still have the energy to be reincarnated as human individuals.

However, a breakthrough occurred with the emergence of the Violet Subtle Sage, who advocated for group learning, group practice, and the utilization of group resonance to activate and repair genes within the human body. Only through the intervention of immensely powerful supernatural abilities capable of altering human genes within living bodies, individuals can achieve dimensional ascension and attain success in PVED learning within a single lifetime.

Resonance: An individual alone cannot cause a bridge to collapse while crossing it, whereas an army of synchronized individuals can potentially bring down a bridge. This is the power of resonance. Resonance possesses immense strength. The collective subconscious of humans represents a consensus viewpoint and functions as a form of resonance. Thus, the collective human subconscious yields great power. Breaking through the barriers of the collective subconscious is challenging for an ordinary individual, which explains the difficulty modern people face in manifesting superpowers. However, if humans can harness the collective subconscious and the power of resonance in positive ways, they can achieve miraculous results and accomplish feats that would otherwise be deemed impossible.
