Standing at the border of where a once thriving community village stopped, a uniformed lone

figure faced the shrinking rear of the car escaping the grasps of Lucifer. The turmoil had

calmed and the stress gone, all that was left of Kirkfale were many piles of rocks, bricks and

wood. Despite this, the lone figure just stood watching the car, as if to check the car and its

contents had escaped. He smiled and was joined by two other figures.

For a moment, all three continued to stare at the road, even though the car had disappeared

over the horizon seconds before. The beautiful view was glorious and a true image of God"s

bountiful love for all mankind. There were birds flying over the mountains and the sheep and

cows were happily grazing in the fields that lined the road. The waterfalls that littered the

mountain range created a soft background melody to the picturesque scene. Finally, the

woman spoke, “That was a close call.”

“Yes,” the policeman said, “that was very close indeed, our Father chose wisely in that one.

He will certainly be useful in the coming days.” The three figures continued to stare at the

horizon at the end of the valley and between the mountains just a moment longer before the

policeman said, “Come my brothers, we must go and prepare for the end of days.”

They turned and began walking and after a few steps faded into nothing.
