Life in this new reality

It was decided that all the information would be relayed to all of this world. We placed restrictions on travel to and from Randan. Both worlds have a restriction on how many can be on each world. Also what can be taken to and from each world. Mostly new items from our modern world.

There was a delegation from Randan of a range of people to study what we had that can safely go to Randan but what would disrupt their way of life. Coming our way most would be okay but seeds and live animals would be prohibited. They did, however, like the mountain wide tire pedal bikes.

We all agreed that only a few be taught the door and those would be employed by the government as to prevent prohibited things from entering either world. I have taught Rick the incantation for isolating criminals that violate this agreement. They have wilderness where they can place the wanderers. Ones from our world will be handled by our world. Ones from Randan will be handled by them.

Gloria, Kile and Arron are now getting their education on Randan’s way of living. It is hoped that we can turn a goodly portion of our areas back to what they were.

Using the descriptions in the journal of Billy Barker, they are now doing digs at the farm and Grange. It was found that the Camp Grounds had been totally washed away by the passage of time. They are going to find topography similar and rebuild to the descriptions of the buildings. It will be fascinating what they do with the Cross Roads third floor and Daisy’s guest house.

The biggest thing with this whole thing is that there are people who have, for their own reasons, asked to relocate. There are youngsters from both that want to relocate. Those are given a year permit to get used to it.

The funny thing, very few really stay. Most return with the knowledge that the grass may be greener elsewhere but you have to mow more often. Both ways, it takes a lot of work.

Most of our old ones want that cabin away from the maddening pace of our world and love the slow life of Randan. Our world has financed areas on Randan where both world’s old ones can go and be taken care of. Our world pays for all. Now emperor Lyle sees to their care. Most of the staff and doctors are those foundlings he raised along with those he placed.

Something very startling happened on a full family visit to Rick and Azael’s mansion. Everyone was there and having a great time. Lyle’s brood were there. Gloria was having the most fun she has had with children since she first took to flight .

When she was like that, all through her life, she has had a song that she sang. None of our family knew the words but it was her happy song. We always could see, when she was having fun, that Gloria was going to start singing. Right now she was at that point. She started singing.

To all of our astonishment, and Gloria’s, Margaret came over to her and matched her word for word. Soon even the Randan children were singing the same strange word song. Gloria was in happy tears. They all hugged her.

Margaret could see that we were perplexed. She asks,

“You don’t know what the words are, do you? It is an old old song from our ancestors. It was the time after their souls were healed. It is the language of the gods at that time. This song has been passed down through our ages. It talks about the pure love. The love of family. The love of life.”

“Oh cherished gods, we thank you for every day we spend with those we love, for we receive double back. The love of the ones we love and your love. We sing to praise you, we sing to thank you that we are with this loving family.”

When she finished, Margaret tells us that translated words do not do it justice. She looks at Gloria and hugs her.

“You must have a connection to our worlds spirits to know this song and sing it so perfect. You must have been touched by our ones in the final life. You truly have been blessed.”

I go back to our world and return with a tablet and have all of them sing it again and have Margret again explain what it meant. I must have our greatest researchers study this to see if they can do a better translation.

Victor and Vickey Dew have a whole new world to republish their adventures. They have jointly written an embellished version of the journal and it is a smash hit on the human world. They have signings on the human world but one of their favorite places to have signings is in the reconstructed Cross Roads. For both worlds, the site is almost like a pilgrimage.

The original site is protected with limited access.

Now that both worlds can confirm the we are connected to the universal one time human Billy Barker, We all are the same family reunited. Like long lost family that one did not know existed, both worlds now can sing that song a little fledgling sang while holding on to the full werewolf she called DaDa.

There is only one question left. The god of mercy said that many thousands of souls were placed on Randan. It sounded like a hint that there are other souls elsewhere. Randan has said that they will be exploring.

Could that be the ultimate reason that our kind has always said that the three were the most important?

The three tied each to three worlds of changelings?

Could it be that they will finally unite all the souls to this their home world?

Maybe Gloria will get another message on where to look.

All of us need to wait and see.
