I can do this, I can do this. All I have to do is find Jason and Joey to help Alex fight these things. Oh I wish I was wearing better shoes then these sandals. Lea came to a dead end, she quickly scanned the area looking for somewhere to hide or run to. Then she heard the infected behind her, she turned around slowly and saw ten of them looking at her licking their lips. Out of the corner of her eye she could see an alleyway. Then without hesitation she darted towards the alleyway and the infected followed her. Crap, another dead end, where do I go now?? Thank god - a door!! Lea ran up to the door, opened it and ran inside; in her hurry she almost forgot to close it, until an infected tried to walk in so she quickly shut the door in the infected’s face.
She was in a gun shop. What are the odds? She ran to a Blaster 6000, grabbed it then she quickly looked around for ammo. She could hear the infected scratching at the door. Right I need to find another gun just in case I drop this one. Oh yes a pistol that will do. Ok, Ok now I have to hide somewhere so I can shoot them one at a time if I can. She had hidden behind the counter.
Two hours later and she was still sitting there quietly waiting, the whole time she was there she couldn’t stop thinking about the others - especially Alex - fighting off millions of the infected alone.
She was about to get up to move somewhere else when the door smashed open.
“I know you’re in here, little girl.” said the Vampire. Lea peeped around the corner and she saw a big black Bat with long sharp teeth; it was about 12 foot tall, its wings were dragging across the floor and the ceiling, making horrible squeaking sounds. Behind the bat were five infected and they looked to be 10 foot tall.
“For f***ks sake this building is too small for me!” shouted the Vampire, Lea took another peep and saw the Vampire transforming back to its human size. The Vampire was a woman, probably the same age as Joey with black hair. Lea couldn’t see her eye colour but all Lea was worried about was why the Vampire was naked.
“You know what kid? You’re very lucky, when I’m in the human form I can’t use my powers. So I have to hunt you down normally, naaa screw that - you five find her so I can kill her.” The infected split up to find Lea and the woman stood perfectly still. Lea got the Blaster 6000 ready while one walked in her direction. When it got closer to her, she started to panic. Ok let’s do it. Lea got up and spun round to shoot the infected but the woman was there instead. Lea quickly shot her in the chest and the woman went flying into a cabinet and Lea went flying into the wall behind her. An infected dived at Lea and she quickly shot the infected and it fell to the ground.
Lea quickly got up and started to run to the door but an infected grabbed her foot making her fall over and the Blaster slid onto the floor under a cabinet. The infected started to pull her towards itself. Lea grabbed her pistol from its holster and started to shoot it, with every bullet the creature screamed until one bullet went straight through its brain. Lea kicked the body off of her and ran out off the shop. She looked behind her and saw the woman drinking one of the infected’s blood and she started to heal from the gun shot.
Lea turned her head again and saw more infected in front of her, she was about to run back until she saw another big bat. Lea shot at the bat’s eyes and ran into a little gap. Oh no I’m trapped!! Panicking, she looked behind her and saw the infected reaching in the gap, trying to get her but lucky for her the gap was too small for them. Lea checked the pistol magazine and she realised she only had three bullets left.
One of the infected roared and started to brake the bricks so it could get to its prey and Lea shot at its head making blood splatter all over the other infected. They stopped trying to get to her and started to eat the dead infected instead. This bought Lea some time to make a plan but it didn’t last long and they started to smash the bricks again, she shot them again and again. She threw the empty pistol and it hit an infected’s head and it started to bleed, everything went quiet, all of the infected looked at the one with the bleeding head and started to dislocate their jaws. Lea knew what was coming, she quickly turned her head so she couldn’t see. She could hear the infected screaming and heard it being ripped apart by its own kind and she squirmed as she heard the blood dripping all over the floor.
All of a sudden there were gun shots, Lea turned her head to see the infected running away. Five minutes passed, she managed to find the courage to come out of her safe spot and was hoping to find Jason and Joey or Alex. When she got out there was a lot of blood on the floor and dead bodies, she walked out of the alleyway and she saw a 10 foot robot with its back to her. She slipped on some blood and the robot turned around, it started walking to her and said “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine for now.” She replied, not knowing what to make of the big robot.
“Good.” When the robot spoke, it sounded like a human rather than a machine. It made Lea feel a bit more at ease.
“Thank you for the help” Lea said politely.
“You’re welcome Master.”
“I’m your Master?”
“Yep.”
“Why?”
“You’re a Sky Lander - plus you’re one of the three manager clans.”
“How do you know?”
“Look at your necklace then look at my arm.” Lea looked at her necklace and saw the star pendant, then she looked at the robots arm and it had the same picture.
“What does this star mean?” asked Lea.
“It’s a mark of your clan and since I got the same mark it means I obey you only and protect you.”
“Well that’s cool. Erm, what’s your name?”
“It’s Titan.”
Suddenly there was more screaming coming from behind Titan. “You need to get inside me Master.”
Before Lea could say anything, Titan grabbed her and put her near his chest and she saw his chest opening and there was an old chair and TV screens inside! Lea sat on the chair and put on her seat belt while Titan’s chest closed. When it closed it was dark, then a split second later the TV went on and Lea could see what Titan could see and he said “Would you like me to stay on automatic or go on manual?”
“What happens you go to manual?”
“You take control but automatic is when I do it for you.”
“You can stay as you are.” She replied, unsure of how she would control the robot.
Titan turned around to face the infected and said “Master I have no ammo left I’ve got to use hand to hand combat so make sure you’re fastened up.”
“Ok.” Then Titan ran towards the infected and threw a punch at one of the infected’s face knocking it out with one hit. Then another one jumped on Titan’s back trying to rip him apart but it wasn’t working.
“Don’t worry Master, they can’t get you in there, my body is too hard for them.”
“By the way you can just call me Lea.”
“Ok, Lea.” He replied as he fought the infected.
“How did you find me Titan?”
“You were on the map.”
“Map? Can I look at the map please?” Then on one of the TV screens a map appeared with dots on it.
Titan grabbed the infected of his back and ripped it in half. He stood looking round, ready to fight any more infected, but they all seemed to be gone for now.
“What do these dots mean?” asked Lea.
“The blue ones mean your friends, the red ones mean the enemies and the green ones mean allies and the triangle one is us.”
Lea looked at the map and noticed two blue dots were with the green ones and on the other side of the map was one blue dot with thousands of red dots.
“Titan what does the big yellow one mean?”
“It means Vampire, big robots and orange dots mean jets or ships.”
“Well, we got a yellow dot heading towards Jason and Joey.”
“Do you want me to kill them Lea or are they friends?”
“They are friends and so is Alex so don’t kill them.”
“Ok I just need to scan them then so it’s in my database.”
“We need to take down the Vampire Titan before it kills Joey and Jason.”
“Ok, I’ll run there. Hold on.”
