Relationship & Community Builders
This section of Lesson-ology™concerns one of the most important aspects of effective teaching and classroom management – building positive, trusting relationships with students and creating supportive peer communities.
The ‘Getting to Know You’ activities will be ideal for the start of term (or when presented with a new group) while the ‘Relationship-Builders’ and ‘Team-Builders’
can be used throughout the year as a strategy for maintaining and strengthening both peer-peer and teacher-student relationships as well as generally building a general sense of ‘community’ in the whole group.
