Tai DeSa lost it all and then pulled off a great comeback. Shortly before graduating from the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, he decided to join the military to become a better leader.
Tai spent five years deployed overseas as a Naval intelligence officer, including three deployments to combat zones. After leaving the Navy, he became a full-time real estate investor and eventually a broker. When the housing bubble burst, he lost his life savings, but he rebounded by building a successful real estate career. Today, Tai and his wife Amira are real estate investors and operate real estate brokerage businesses in Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
