The Fellowship of the Secret
Book Description Report this book
Biblical scholarship is a good thing; a personal revelation concerning how Scripture should be interpreted would be better still and the author is convinced he has received the latter, especially as the resulting schema provides an unprecedented degree of intrinsic textual coherence. The book's title "Fellowship of the Secret" is one of several cryptic references to the mystery of providence and the Church's role within it. Such an unveiling should be sweet as honey to the taste, whilst what had previously been assimilated through Western Christendom's traditional teaching regarding God's seemingly pitiless intentions towards the billions of people not chosen to experience the rigours and privileges of Christian discipleship will appear bitter; ripe for expulsion (Jn6:44; Rev10:9-10).
