The Blessing of the Lord HTML version

In our time God is still patient, desiring all to come to repentance.
As we walk in His blessing, more people can be reached. The
Lord is able to bring forth His blessing, even in the midst of a
corrupt world. The blessing of the Lord can bring repentance, and
turn people towards Christ. We must believe, for the blessing to
be manifested powerfully in our world.
The Path Of Blessing In The Psalms
In the Psalms we find a path of blessing, as God’s Word reveals
many dimensions of the blessing of the Lord:
Blessed Trust
Psalm 84:12 speaks of the blessing which rests upon those who
trust in the Lord: "O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts
in you" (NIV). We can experience the blessing of the Lord, as we
trust Him. To trust in God’s Word, and trust His love toward us,
will lead to the blessing. We must trust the Lord, even when we
cannot see how He is going to manifest His blessing.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 also speaks of the blessing that rests upon those
who trust in the Lord: "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord
and whose trust is in the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted
by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear
when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not
be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit"
(Jer.17:7,8 NASB). The blessing of the Lord is a hidden resource,
that we can tap into by trusting the Lord. The blessing of the Lord
