An introduction to Computer Science and the craft of computer programming. This book is a little outdated now as it focuses on third generation languages such as C rather than modern languages such as Java, however it is still a good general introduction to Computer Science and programming.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mark McIlroy

Mark McIlroy has a Masters degrees in Applied Finance and Financial Planning. He has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. Mark is a graduate of the Company Director's Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mark has extensive experience in the Financial Services industry in roles including Portfolio Manager (Quantitative), managing quantitative Australian Equity portfolios for a major bank. He also has experience in IT development roles in the Financial Services sector. Mark lives with his wife in Melbourne, Australia.
