Because of the people, campers and counselors, on the pages of this story I am a better person. I have been taught the real meaning of courage, perseverance and unconditional love. I have been shown a standard I can only hope to one day live up to and I am deeply indebted to each of them for that.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Daniel Roth

Daniel spent 20 years as a counselor at a camp for children with special needs. He was forever changed by people, campers and counselors, he encountered during this time. For the past 7 years Daniel has been helping at the Lehman Center, a crisis nursery in Downtown York. The Lehman Center provides emergency and short-term respite care to at risk children form birth to age 6
