Book Description

Jess has always been in love with one woman, even when Megan walked out on him. As the years passed he learned to go on with his life and since dating his neighbor he’s never felt more alive. Then comes the day when a car arrives and Megan steps out with her young son in tow. Jess suddenly finds himself torn between the love he once had and the life he leads now. Megan doesn’t know who else to go to when her husband’s drunken beatings move from her to her son. In fear that her husband will find her at a friend or relatives house Megan turns to the only other person she knows she can trust. In a town where she grew up, with the man she still loves so desperately, Megan must come to terms with their emotional past or find herself leaving once again.

Interesting story, I agree end was a let down and I definitely doesn't like the swearing, that spoils the whole story

good read till end thinking there must be going to be another book? to answer our questions

Anita Persaud

great story! but the ending is not clear as to who jess married to! I mean I am not physic to foresee this ending? I wouldn't say it was a waste of time reading but I am also wondering if the child is jess!

Pearl Oshea

Poor ending, unclear and rushed failing the rest of the book. Maybe author wants to sell follow on books, but this will not encourage me to buy/ read more!

Carolyn Goodlow

Good story up until the ending. I dislike investing my time in reading a book and the conflict isn't resolved at all. Not my cup of tea. Will not be reading anything else by this author because of this.

I like the story, but MY GOD, what happened to the ending? Is there a second part to this book? I need to know who he married!!! What's the use in learning about their life before and during the story, if you don't know what happens in the end?

The lack of a good ending.

Asare Felix

Sorry - I like a definite ending! Ending just not satisfactory to me!

Veronnica Dolan

I liked the story and the characters, but the ending sucked. I won't be reading anything else by this author because of it. The ending was almost like the book wasn't even finished and rushed to throw something in there. I would've liked to see who he chose.

Great story, couldn't stop reading. But then a very disappointing end... Throughout the whole book it builds up to him having to make a decision, why are we not allowed to know who he chose?

Girtree Ramsubhag

This book had a great story line but a very poor ending. Sorry that I have to say that. After leading up to the big ending I still have no Idea who he married. I just had to guess. He had no joy in finding out that he was a father. Next time have a complete ending. Good luck with your writing

I thought the storyline was really good but the ending was too rushed and that made it quite disappointing... Would appreciate finding out who he did marry in the end as it seems the last chapter before the epilogue is missing

Rita Colher

Unless you are preparing a second book to give continuation to the story, seems to me that this end is somewhat in the air, altough you give some clues but we never really know how the story ends, don't we? A very nice story, though....

I really enjoyed the book but was dissapointed by the cliffhanger ending. The rest of the story grabbed your attention and I felt robbed of the story line because of the ending.

Rachael Hubble

The book was great, but like everyone else I agree with the ending. Who did he marry?

Elizabeth Botha

The ending is very confusing, Who did he marry? why so rushed tell the full story. But was a good read anyway

Liked it but I'm not sure about the ending, unless I'm missing a few pages? The story I read ended as Jess was kissing his bride, but I never got to find out who he married!!! If I'm missing something please let me know!!

Olubusola Ayo-Fadumila

The end was kind of rushed.

Greta Krafsig

Let's see... I've wanted to be a writer for almost as long as I can remember. I started writing when I was 6 years old and have been doing it ever since. I self-published a teen book but I'd love to find a publisher or agent for some of my other work. Right now it's just a hobby but I hope it's something I can continue to pursue for the rest of my life. If you like my work please tell your friends!
