A pretty interesting story up until about 3/4 of the way through. Then it goes in a direction that I thought was not well thought out. It could have been a really good book had they not gone so far over the edge in the later part of the book. I am still glad I chose this book but I cant really recommend this to others.
Pip is a poor orphan who grows up in England in the early 1800's. He endures many hardships including poverty and violence.
