Book Description HTML

Autobiographical novel by abolitionist, author, and reformer Frederick Douglass. One of America's most prominent figures in African-American and United States history, Douglass' autobiography historically has been used for teaching the concepts of freedom and social development.

Steve Machamer

I thought the book was very interesting and could have been more pages with more details. I knew a lot of what was written and I believe that every young person in the USA should have to read it and see the changes one person can make. A good read.
