“Well it took 2 weeks but we managed to get to my home.” said Jason.
Alex walked into the hanger in his pj’s and Lea turned around on her chair. Alex looked at Lea she was wearing shorts and a vest top and white sandals and she had her hair tied back. “You look like you’re going to a beach.”
“Yeah, I don’t really like these clothes at all but Joey said I should dress up like a little girl instead of a little boy and I look silly in this anyway.” Alex raised an eyebrow and said “You don’t look silly at all plus Joey is right as well, you look like a sweet harmless little girl and I think that’s a good thing because when an enemy comes close to you he or she would think oh she can’t hurt me, then you will kick the crap out of them like a boy. So think of it as a disguise.” Lea smiled at Alex and turned around, Alex started to walk up to Joey and Jason who was flying the ship.
“Alex, you better get dressed, we will be landing soon.” said Jason.
“Aye aye captain.” said Alex turning round looking bored.
Jason’s ship got closer to the main docking doors of his home ship, the doors should have opened as they approached, but they didn’t.
“What’s going on?” said Joey.
“I don’t know, I think because Alex and Lea is here the scanner thinks they are intruders so I have to change the manifest.”
“How long would that take?”
“Two minutes max.”
5 minutes later...
The big iron doors opened up for Jason’s ship to fly in and land. Jason, Joey, Lea and Alex walked out of the ship and expected to have people coming up and talking to them but it was dead quiet.
“Where’s everyone?” worried Lea, “I don’t know.” said Alex. They carried on walking in the hallway when suddenly Alex stopped and turned around looking everywhere behind him. “Lea stay close to me, Ok?” Lea turned to look at Alex and said “What’s wrong?” She walked closer to him, then Jason and Joey came closer to him too, looking down the dark hallway.
“Have you noticed anything odd about this place Jason?” said Alex.
“Well the lights are off down there that’s all really, why?”
“I think we are being hunted.” Replied Alex, grimly.
“What, Ghost?” said Joey.
“It’s not Ghost, they would have showed up by now.” said Alex starting to look a bit angry.
“Let’s get going.” said Lea “It’s scary down here.”
Alex looked at Lea and smiled and walked the other way, she followed him then Jason and Joey came after.
“Wow look at the size of this supermarket.” Joey said happily. “Oh look there’s someone down there, he seems to be curling over something.” said Lea pointing down the path.
The man sat up then got up on his feet and turned to face them. Lea started to wave at him but the man looked spaced out. Alex stood in front of Lea, Joey got out her rifle from the holster on her back and aimed at the man, she could see the man was pale white and had no hair, he also had blood dripping down his face. Then she aimed at the object on the floor he was kneeling over, she couldn’t make out what it was, then she zoomed in and said “Holy crap!”
Jason looked at her and said “What is it?”
“The man’s infected” said Alex.
Jason had a dumb look on his face like ‘what are you on about’ look.
“He’s right, that man is infected.”
“Infected by what?” said Lea, feeling more frightened all of a sudden.
“That man has been bitten by a Vampire.” Then suddenly the man screamed and charged at them.
Jason, Joey, Lea and Alex were running down the path away from the infected. “Alex why are we running?? You could kick his ass!!”
“He screamed.”
“So you crapped your pants?”
“No Jason, I wouldn’t mind him screaming, its just when an infected scream they are calling a hunger party, which means everyone who is infected and the original Vampire will come to kill the pray... which is us!”
Jason looked behind him and saw exactly what Alex was talking about, there wasn’t just one chasing them; there were millions of them.
“We need to split up!” Jason and Joey took a left down a different path and Lea and Alex carried on.
None of the infected followed Jason and Joey. One infected grabbed onto Lea’s arm and pulled her back onto the floor and Lea started to scream. The infected dislocated his jaw and went to bite Lea’s head off but before the creature got close enough, Alex grabbed it off of her and through it into the hoard, then Alex quickly helped Lea get up.
“Thanks.” She puffed.
“Don’t thank me yet.” Alex grew spikes on his arms and looked at Lea and said “Lea I need you to run as fast as you can I’m going to hold them off.”
“Alex they will kill you.”
“Yeah and they will kill YOU, so run now!”
Lea turned and started to run. Alex looked at the infected hunger party, they were all dribbling at the sight of him and Alex said “Now that’s just embarrassing.” He sprinted into them; slashing the heads off or cutting them in half, but some managed to run past him to go after Lea...
